My mother has moved into Brookdale Clinton. We chose them because the people who lived there looked like they were having fun, and they showed us everything they had going on every day. They have at least five things going every day at different times for the people. And we like that, that they could keep them going. They have different classes that my mother could sign up for which would be like sewing, crocheting, and knitting. They have art classes she could take, too. With regards to dining, they treated it more like a hotel where they would give everybody two options. They have different times they sign up to go eat, and they sit down at their tables. They have servers that come out and ask them which option they would like 1 or 2, that was posted on a board that they read before they walked in. My mother's living space is more than big enough for her. She was allowed to bring most of her own furniture. They have somebody that comes in and cleans the rooms every other week. The laundry machine just happens to be just around the corner from her, but they have six laundry spaces on each floor. Also, they have memory care services that they brought in.

We had an in-person tour of Brookdale Clinton. We toured the facilities. We saw some of the ongoing activities. We looked at three different apartments, and all of those were very nice. It was a nice facility. The people were all very helpful and friendly. It just seemed like a nice community. Everyone seemed very nice. The facility was maintained very nicely. It was very clean. They were redoing the rooms that people had moved out of, and it was very well done. They had an area where they would do barbecues for the community members. They had small gardens for people to grow stuff.

We went to Brookdale Clinton. They provided three meals a day and transportation to medical appointments. They schedule activities every week. They also had a weekly grocery shop van service. Those were the types of things we were looking for. And they also were heavily into military families, which for us was important because my brother was a military-based person, a retiree. The staff who accommodated us on the tour was very friendly, open, and knowledgeable. I also met the activity director. She was young and very enthusiastic. I got an overall great impression.

My husband and I visited this community and we really wanted to like it. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. However, the facility itself is functionally and aesthetically poor quality considering the price they are charging to live there. We stayed overnight and the "guest suite" had no stove and no kitchenware other than two glasses! No ironing board, coffee maker of any kind. You would think if a company were trying to "sell" their facility to a potential resident, they would make an effort to make the accommodation as functional and comfortable as possible. We could never get a comfortable temperature in the room, and the evening shift concierge could not figure out how to properly set the thermostat either. The air quality itself was just weird, to be honest, a little sickening and both my husband and I just didn't feel right the next day when we left. The bedding included an uncomfortably thick spread--no blanket or other cover, which added to the discomfort of the experience. The food? Another bizarre experience. The chef supposedly was a former exec chef at a 4-star restaurant, even owned his own restaurant. To that end we expected decent quality food choices. What we had for dinner was some kind of pulled chicken "mush" on white bread along with a wilted garden salad. But the part of the experience that stands out the most for me was one resident, whom I passed in the hall several times during the evening. The gentleman just sat there holding his head in hands. When I asked if he was okay, he just shook his head and waved me away. He had an expression of resignation, almost as if he had "given up".

We met the representative of Brookdale Clinton. They sat us down for lunch. The service was fine. The food was good. Then we toured the rest of the facility and we looked at three different rooms. The rooms were all pretty much the same, just in different areas of the building. And they were all two-bedroom-two-baths with a little common area in the middle with kitchenettes. The kitchenettes needed updating. Then we went over the price. For my parents, knowing them, the room itself was probably a little too small for their liking, and I don't know if they could afford it there. It's a bit more than what they bring in each month. We met the person at the front desk, and he was very nice and helpful. The representative was very nice, too. We met the director of the whole place. Everybody was nice, so it was good. They had some nice common areas where they could sit, socialize, or do a puzzle. I like those areas. There were a couple of people sitting in the common area. They had places where they could plant vegetables or flowers, so everything was nice.

My aunt stayed at Brookdale Clinton. The experience was all right, but like everywhere else, they were shorthanded, so things didn't get taken care of. The staff members were all friendly. The food was all right in the beginning, and then the chef left and the food went downhill.

Brookdale Clinton was very nice. Everything looked clean. We checked around and the empty cupboards were all clean. The people all seemed very nice and caring. They have all kinds of hobbies that are there for anybody that's their interest. Our son and daughter went with us and they were very pleased with everything they saw. From putting the trash out your door and they pick it up, the laundry, and the services they offer as far as doing beds. The personnel were just so nice, right down to the maintenance man and everybody else. They spoke to you and talked to you and that made it very nice. The lunch we had was very good. We had meatloaf that day and mashed potatoes with gravy and asparagus. They had a strawberry cake and that was delicious. The parking seemed fine. We're handicapped, so the kids left us off at the front door, but the facility said parking for us would be close.

The staff I met at Brookdale Clinton was very welcoming and answered any questions I had. I had a wonderful tour. The facility was very clean and the lady has been in contact with me since, following up on how my dad's doing and it's just been wonderful. They had walking paths and a lot of activities for the residents to do like outings. The layout was very nice. The director was also very nice. They knew the residents that were walking around. They knew their names and seemed to genuinely care about everyone living there. The dining area was very nice and they provide three meals a day. They said they cater to special diets and dietary restrictions.

We like Brookdale Clinton because of the location and the services they provide. They have activities and my dad is able to create some programs on his own too, which he was happy with. His apartment is relatively small. It is a one-bedroom with a living room, bathroom, and a kitchenette, but it's nice. The staff has been great. The food is good. I enjoy it. They serve them three meals a day. The facility looks very clean and very well kept. They also have other programs where they bring in different speakers or different activities to do. There is a gym and a hair salon.

Brookdale Clinton is excellent. It's beautiful and the staff was phenomenal, that's where my father is planning to go. They had every activity that you can imagine, they had a pool table, shuffleboard table, tabletop games, a library, and a formal parlor that you could go and sit in. They also had multiple other sitting areas if you wanna get out of your room and visit with family. The dining hall had wonderful options for meals that the clientele there could choose from. They also had wonderful activities where they took the clientele out if they were interested. They have a trained chef on staff that prepares the meals based on the menu, they were gourmet level.

We really liked Brookdale Clinton. The staff was very, very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The staff is probably the first thing that you encounter, and they left a very good impression. Everything looked really good, clean, and neat. There's an outside courtyard. We saw the one-bedroom, and it had a little kitchenette, a living room and a pantry, a bedroom, and a bathroom. They had daily activities and little trips that they may take that you can sign up for.

My mother moved into Brookdale Clinton last August. I've been there many times. I'm not sure about food because I'm not there when she eats, but she said that they gave her a pretty good amount of food. She doesn't seem to be having any trouble eating it. She said the only complaint she had was that breakfast was way too early in the morning. She goes down there, sits with a few people, and talks about bingo and all kinds of other stuff. I guess one or two of those ladies walk around the building when it's nice out, so she's making friends. The staff whenever I show up, they're always nice. I talked to the front desk and there's a few people there. There's a lady and a guy there, and they were both nice. So far, everything is fine. Her room is small, it's designed basically for not being there during the day, that way she can get out and she can socialize and do whatever she can do. It was comfortable. My mom is not used to it, she's used to having a house, then she went to an apartment that was probably like 600 square feet, so it is enough room for her. This is smaller, but she won't need all the stuff that she used to have. It's still a little crowded. But she's doing good. As far as amenities and what they do, they went to the beach a few weeks ago, they went to the casino, today they're at Wal-Mart or Target. She's been getting rides to her doctors, she's been getting rides to the store. She doesn't like going that much to the store because she doesn't have any room for it in her apartment. Right now, I'm about 25 minutes away, so we've been working out pretty well. The dining area is nice and they have a little kitchen section and that's clean. I walked through it yesterday. The laundry room was nice and clean, the lobby was nice and clean, it looked like they kept it up well.

My mother is in Brookdale Clinton. She's got an independent living apartment. They still provide 24-hour security and help if she does have any issues, and the staff and support administration so far have been wonderful. The apartment is well laid out and very clean. The activities are amazing. As a matter of fact, they have an activities director, he does a wonderful job, he's easing her into kind of a more social social environment than she's used to, and when she decides to, she's got an array of activities to keep her busy. I think they actually care about the residents. My mother has actually responded about how nice everyone is to her, how good the food is, and how when there's a maintenance issue, they respond right away. So far, everything has been better than one would expect.

We're moving my mom into Brookdale Clinton. We chose this community because it was recommended and it's within the budget. It is very good. We entered the building, but not the dining facility area. The room is excellent. They re-did everything. It's very nice. It is a very attractive-looking building. The staff members are excellent. They're caring. They make you feel right at home and they answered all our questions. My mom was very nervous about going there, but now she can't wait to move in. They're just very easy to work with.

Brookdale Clinton seemed nice, warm, and caring. They had a gym, salon, and they take them to Wal-Mart and different churches. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were served in the dining room. They had mail delivery and pickup right there at the facility. We saw the menu and the dining room, and we got to speak to a couple of the residents and staff there. The assistant director showed us the different apartments and activity places.

My mother-in-law will move into Brookdale Clinton. The layout was very nice, the staff was very friendly, it looked clean, and the residents looked like they were enjoying themselves. They've been very cooperative and helpful. I was not able to eat there, but my mother-in-law, brother-in-law, aunt, and uncle did, and they enjoyed it. The room looked good. It might be a little small, but once she gets there it will be good.

Brookdale Clinton was good but a little expensive. They had all kinds of facilities there but it's not really updated. It was nice, but they had mostly elder people. The cost includes your meals three times a day and someone to come in and clean your room. The staff was very nice and we got a tour of the whole place. They had a place to do gym work, to get your hair done, and a place to have parties. Everybody was great. The food was very good.

We liked Brookdale Clinton, but we didn't really feel we wanted to have our total meal plans provided. It was nice, but it was kind of out of the way, and we didnt think it was as attractive as the other places we saw. The staff who showed us around was very helpful and willing to accommodate us. The dining area looked very organized and the head chef was very nice. The menu looked good and they seemed to have a lot of activities

I find Brookdale Clinton to be well-run and well-appointed. It is not particularly easy to get to, but it is relatively close to my parents' current home. The staff members are accommodating. The rooms are small but well designed. Activities appear plentiful and appropriate. They have social hours, shopping trips, and dining trips.

I loved the independent unit of Brookdale Clinton. The staff was excellent and they don't have a lot of turnover, so we've known most of them for nine years. When they'd see my mother they'd hug her, that's how close they were. She had a 1-bedroom apartment and she did really well. She had caregivers for the last year and half so that's why we decided to move her next door to memory care, because she needed more care. The people were nice, her apartment was nice, and they would come in and clean it. The chef for both memory and independent care were the same, so the food is really good. They had this nice room with a fireplace for when they have discussions or guests. They had a library, a game room, and the dining room was large, lovely, and very pleasant. They also have a beauty salon and we became very good friends with the hairstylist. They had a café and there's popcorn, they had a happy hour where they'd serve wine. That's where they usually have people come in and play music or movies. The exercise room was next to the cafe. It's two floors and they had 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments. They had a chapel and there were these little nooks in the hallways where people were always working on puzzles. They had one large room upstairs with a big table and chairs for the residents to just hang out in. The atmosphere was very friendly. My mom used to ask me, "How did you ever find this place? I love it here." They had some really great activities and I have been to some of them. They take them out to eat at different restaurants once a week. It's a little more expensive, but it's worth the money for the services you get.

I thought Brookdale Clinton was a very nice facility. We had lunch there, and the food was good. It looked like a well-run facility, but my uncle has decided that he wants to stay where he is now. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I was very impressed with this place. The apartment we looked at was very nice and well kept but small.

I was able to visit Brookdale Clinton, and I viewed the place very favorably. We went there several times, and it was neat and clean. I happened to be there during their happy hour. The residents were clapping, laughing, and interacting. Everyone had meal choices, and they were raving about the food. We looked at the apartments, and they all looked neat and clean with everything you could possibly want. I liked the option of having therapy if need be. They had exercise equipment there.

My father has been in Brookdale for some months now. My father made his decision based on meeting the manager; her name is Janet. My father meets someone there that he knows from long ago, and that kind of breaks the ice. Then when he sits down and talks to Janet, she is really solely responsible for his decision to move in there. She is a remarkable person. I think the most important at his age is food. He actually likes better variety of food. I eat the main meal and the food is very good. My husband and I both eat there on another occasion, and it is excellent. He has a one-bedroom unit with a living room and a kitchenette. It is just in the right size. We appreciate having someone there all the time. We thank that he can walk out in the community. He does not have to stay inside. He can go out and talk to people. He is very happy that they have flowers. He is looking forward in having some gardening in the spring because he always enjoys growing plants. The grounds are nice. There is a little patio. It has easy access. He takes his walker and goes outside for fresh air. I think it is a terrific place for this time of his life, and I am very happy that he is able to live there. The staff is incredible, and honestly, it is the staff that matters. They interact with them all the time. This is a very special environment, and the staff really makes it work.

This is a wonderful community. I am so glad we looked here prior to moving my parents into assisted living elsewhere. The building is well maintained and the maintenance staff is very accommodating and patient. The food is excellent and choices abundant. All of the staff called my parents by name the day we moved them in. They are kind, patient and understanding. Even though it is a large community, the staff not only knows my parents but also they also know me and who I am connected to. When one parent was in the hospital and the other with family, they asked after both of them. The fact they know my parents and what is going on in their lives is very comforting to me. They contact me with any problems or concerns and I am very comfortable reaching out to them as well. What a Godsend this has been.
