My mom chose Lincolnshire Place Decatur. They're doing a nice job with her. They keep the place very orderly and it's a nice place compared to a lot of places I've seen. The staff is very friendly and nice. She's getting physical therapy and occupational therapy, which has been very helpful. When she got there, she couldn't do much on her own. And now, she's walking with a walker and getting dressed on her own. But if you're diabetic, you don't belong there because all they want to feed you with is carbs, and that's the one point there I don't care for. Mom has a private room and it is nice, but she's mostly out in the general area where everybody's at. They have a lot of sitting areas and televisions. There are a couple of different locations where you can watch television and they have group activities. It's locked units and you have to have a code to get in and out of the building. So, it's pretty secure. They have a couple of residents who get out of the unit once in a while, but they've never gotten out of the building.

We couldn't have picked a better place for my grandpa! It warms my heart the way the staff always goes above and beyond to care for every resident there. The food is always amazing! I couldn't be any happier with our decision. Five stars all around!!!
