My husband was at the nursing facility of Altamaha Healthcare Center in Jesup, and there's nothing I like about it. The place was dirty, and my husband stank. He got sick, and they wouldn't send him to the emergency room. Finally, my daughter, who is a nurse, went there and got them to send him to the emergency room. It turned out he had a UTI and sepsis. His blood pressure was so low that they had to give him medication to raise it. It was life-threatening, and it took days to get him to the emergency room. The doctor even said he is not sending my husband back to that place. I have not tasted the food, but my husband said it was horrible. One time, he asked for a glass of ice water before I came to see him. I had to ask for it myself when I arrived, and it was still 30 minutes after I asked for them to get it when it came. The structure was terrible, and the layout of the room was horrible. On holidays, I also noticed that the employees brought their kids to work. If you love your loved ones, you will not put them there.
