Habersham Retreat

I like Habersham Retreat. It's an open community, people can come and go. There's more freedom. It's a level area, it's clean, neat, and easy to navigate through the rooms. I just didn't see any activities provided for them to do. The staff is very thoughtful, and they obviously cared for their residents as I watched them speak and interact with them, but it's more institutional looking.

My mother has been at Habersham Retreat for several months now. We chose this facility because we live in the area, and so we are closer to her. She will soon be 99 years old, and it is more convenient for us. Compared to the other places that we've looked at, we like the location. The rooms are nice, and it's a smaller place. She has no complaints about it, and she loves the place. Their dining area is very nice. It’s clean, and I don’t know if they need to improve it with what they have. The staff seemed to be very good. She's very pleased with the facility. They do things for activities like bingo, alley bowling, and singing. I would recommend this to anyone who needs assisted living.

My mom was an Alzheimer's patient and she passed away last August, but she stayed here at Habersham Retreat. This was a really nice place. It was very clean. They had good food and great staff. I loved them. They also had a lot of activities for residents to do.

My experience with Habersham Retreat has always been a good one. I have visited some friends and family members there over the years and they have always been happy with the facility. The nurses are always nice and attentive, the doctors are very knowledgeable and make sure that they do their very best to keep the residence in the up most health possible. They have very good meals that are tailored to the residence individual needs and the facility is also very clean and well maintained. The staff is always helpful and never made me feel out of place or that I was a bother for asking questions pertaining to my loved ones. I would recommend Habersham Retreat to anyone that would ask because they have always taken good care of my family.
