Wynmoor Village

I'm living in Wynmoor Village. It's a very, very large community. We have every amenity that is in the book. We have everything here, and there are a lot of people here. This community has about 5,500 apartments, and it is a wonderful place. The only thing is it doesn't have what I need down the road when I give up driving and cannot go out by myself anymore, then I need assisted living. The staff here is very good. There is a restaurant here. There's a lot of activities. There's yoga, pickleball, a big golf course, and swimming pools.

I lived at Wynmoor Village for 29 years. It's an independent living. As long as you're able to get around a little bit, they have service and activities. You should be mentally competent and not need any kind of care. They have every activity you can imagine and a nice restaurant, a golf course, a stained glass shop, ceramics shop, and a woodworking shop. You name it, it's there. They have bocce, tennis, paddleball, and pickleball. I had a wonderful time and never found a problem. Each building has their own village, their own board of directors, and their own pool. There's a master pool and a walk-in pool, which is an exercise pool. They have exercise and yoga classes almost every day. They have a thousand-seat theater with a raised stage and dressing rooms. It's very professional.

I thought Wynmoore Village was really nice, great place. If I was my mom's age, I would go in a minute. It was clean and looked like fun place for an older person. They had a lot of activities that you could choose from to do. They had doctors there. I thought it was a great place, myself, and the price was pretty reasonable for what it was.
