Very strong rehab employees. Meredith was wonderful when working with my brother. Food was better than expected. Facility was older but well kept. If my brother needs I will bring him back to wolcott Hall for therapy

My mother-In-law loves Leslie D. She’s the kindest, sweetest, CNA there. The food isn’t the greatest and there is a staff member Korine. She is nasty. I was visiting and had accidentally came upon an interaction she was having with employees. She is not nice. I would not want to work for her. She doesn’t treat her staff nice. Unsupportive and demeaning.

To all whose loved one needs more assistance/care than you can provide, please do as much research as you can in advance, because it can become extremely difficult to make changes later, if/when you realize that a care facility does not provide optimal care. I will share our experience with this facility. Most CNA's are very hard working and in-touch with the residents needs. Several expressed sadness that they are not able to spend any personal time with the residents. LPN's who do the medication 'passes' several times a day can be impatient and careless. ie Pills found on the floor and a tremendous number of errors in the med log. Slow or no response to bedside calls bells at times. Mice in residents' rooms. Residents left in soiled briefs. Cleanliness/disinfection is lacking. Shared equipment & bathroom not cleaned between resident's use. If possible, try to keep the physician that your loved one is familiar with rather than using the facility Dr. You can read the annual health inspection reports on medicare.gov (although this data does not include self-pay residents). A not-for-profit facility could be considered also. Visit as often as you can and keep your ears and eyes open.

The food here is top notch which is something that made my mothers time in a skilled nursing setting more bearable. She received great therapy from a very nice and motivational staff that got her back to her original condition and more importantly, back home to us. Thank you so much Wolcott Hall! You took great care of my mother and I would bring her back again if need be.

This is not the most elegant building in the area but the care is top notch.

It's not the most upscale looking facility, but the care I received there was upscale and topnotch. From Adeline all the way to nursing to techs and therapists as well as the maintenance man, they are awesome. If ever I need rehab again, this is where I will go! Thanks to all the hard working, dedicated staff. Darlene

This place has really gone down hill. If you have a parent that needs any social interaction don't go here. My mother has gone steadily down hill. I assume the bathing and the medicine is fine but unless you want your parent parked in front of their own TV all day, go somewhere else.

Walcott Hall Nursing Center is a very good facility. The lay out is fine. Cleanliness is about 4.5. My mom is doing fine there. She has been there before. The staff is very good. The personal needs are taken care of, there's quick response and you get calls. Her room is average in size for a nursing facility. Mom responds very well to their care.
