My father is now at Skyline Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He has been there for two weeks now. It has been good. They have lots of activities. They have double rooms, but my father has a private room, and he seems to be enjoying it. With regards to the staff, so far so good. They have kept us updated well on his activities and the therapies that they're offering. They have other programs. They have birthday programs once a month. They have dancing, singing, and all kinds of exercise programs if the residents want to join. It seems to be good value, too.

This is a culture change facility, which makes it feel more like home that an instution. They offer choices, they are flexible, they work with the patient to meet their goals. My Dad went here for rehab after a long hospital stay. The building is clean & well kept. Their meals are hot & tasty & have a good vareity. Snacks are ready available & offered frequently. The nursing staff was caring & concerned. They did daily medication teaching so Dad who be comfortable taking his meds when he returned home, they also did daily diabetic teaching. They monitored his pain & kept him comfortable. The therapy department was wonderful. The encourage Dad & pushed him too to meet his goals. My Dad likes to kid & joke around & the staff enjoyed teasing him back. This also kept Dad positive which really helped his outlook. When it came time for my Dad to be discharged, he went home prepared. His medications were sent with him at laest a 30 day supply, equipment was ordered & delivered to his home & home health care was set up. All of this took a lot of stress off my shoulders. Dad was happy to be going home, but did shed tears at leaving. He had become very fond of the staff there & they were fond of him.Everyone was caring & went above & beyond taking care of my Dad. I recommend Skyline Ridge to anyone who needs 24/7 care for a loved one.
