My mother-in-law lived at Magnolia and Primrose for 6 months before she passed and I have nothing but praise for the facility, the owners and especially the staff! They were all caring and loving individuals who provided great care, and grieved along with us when she passed away!

Magnolia Primrose was beautiful. It was like a bed and breakfast. They all looked happy there. It's a very pleasant and very homey environment. When I walked in the door, it was a good feeling. The staff looked like they were on top of things, the place was clean, and it smelled good. I would recommend it. It was a very calm environment and very peaceful.

I really liked everything about Magnolia, from the homey feel of it to the way that they treated the people to the rooms. However, my father is not ready to go into a retirement home yet. He was way sharper than anybody in there. If there would've been other people more at his level, it would've been different, but we're just not there yet. The dining room had a homey feel. The general atmosphere was great. They had outside activities and a little garden place where they could do gardening. They were doing activities inside to help with memory at the time I was there.

There was this place in Orcutt called Magnolia & Primrose, and I really liked them. They were very nice, too. I liked their setup as well. It’s different than where my sister is now, but it’s a beautiful setting with wonderful grounds.

The staff of Magnolia loved Mom like family. We were so happy that she was in a home with people who truly loved and cared for her. I have nothing but the highest praise for the staff and owners of Magnolia.

The facility looks nice from the first glance. But the residents are not treated like adults and are neglected. Disappointing.
