We have my mom enrolled in a day care program at Avenidas (Avenidas Rose Kleiner Senior Day Health Center), and it seems to be working well right now. They are very caring and wonderful there, and she likes it. There are activities, and they give them lunch. They do crafts and programs. They are a really nice alternative to be away from your home. I like the caring staff. They pick her up on a bus and take her. They bring her back at the end of the program. So, she is still able to stay in her home, and that's the goal at the present time. They have locale community college that brings animals when they visit. They have music and arts & crafts. They also have physical therapy -- both OT and PT. There are nurses on staff, so it is a really wonderful place for my mom right now. The food is great. She even contacts the cook to talk about recipes, menus, and things. We are really happy with Avenidas. I will give them 100% recommendation.
