I liked the cleanliness of Amie Marchini Park Merced. I liked the layout, and it's very beautiful. I like the fact that it had places for families to go and visit and plenty of activities. And they understood that For people with dementia, their reality, there's no use arguing with them or telling them anything. They understood a lot with people of that age group. We had a studio apartment that we looked at. I liked it. That was all on the ground floor because otherwise, you get an elevator, and my mom's in a walker. And if there's a fire, you want them to be able to get out. You go in, there's a large, large closet to the left. So we looked at one that had a little kitchen area, with a refrigerator, sink, cupboards, and bathroom with a lot more features as far as handles and things they can grab bars and the items that they can pull because my mom usually falls in the bathroom. They were prepared, they greeted us by name, and they were ready for us. We can take as long as we want, we can ask as many questions, and they weren't in a hurry. They were very concerned that we had all of our questions answered. The staff was very kind and very sweet. She was the one who had insights for us to help us deal with our mother.

Hopefully, Amie Marchini Park Merced is where my sister will move into. I walked in and it was an automatic open door. The concierge person was very, very pleasant. The director or the person who came and gave me the tour was very informative, and I enjoyed the tour. He showed me several different bedrooms. I was impressed and it was very informal for me. I chose a studio. He was telling me exactly how their caregivers interact with the residents, and it was all nice. As I was coming out, I saw a welcome sign with my name on it. And that put it over the top. I didn't see it until I was going out. The dining room, the hallways, the rooms were just really, really pleasant. I did see the nail shop/beauty salon, an exercise room, several different laundromats, and the dining room. I saw little common spaces where I would be able to sit with my sister. I also saw a couple of TV rooms.

My father-in-law has been at Amie Marchini Park Merced for one week now. We chose it because it was all on one floor, with no stairs and no elevators. His room is very nice. It has hardwood floors, a large window for him to look out at, a nice little bathroom, and a small kitchen. So, it's very convenient for him. They have activities, and different games and stuff that they take them to. My father-in-law likes bingo the best. I'm not too happy about their housekeeping. They only do it once a week, and I think he needs it more than that. They need more assistance from the staff to help them get from one place to another.

Amie Marchini Park Merced was very well maintained and very professional. We ran into quite a few residents in the hallways and the main areas, and everybody seemed very happy and content. The menu that I saw there was very impressive. The person who accommodated us was great. She was very professional. She was able to explain everything in detail.

Amie Marchini Park Merced was very nice, but it was too expensive for us. The room was very nice. The staff were very polite. We saw the dining where they ate. We also saw the patio, and the recreation area where they do arts and crafts. The staff who gave me the tour was very knowledgeable and gave me all the information that we were looking for.

I really like Amie Marchini Park Merced. It's very clean, the grounds are very well-kept, and the personnel is very attentive and very informative. We really like the facility, the grounds are very beautiful compared to the other two places that we've been to. They offered us beverages. What we liked about this is that they had a lot of activities like bingo and art. The grounds were very green, everything was green, and well-kept.

Park Merced Assisted Living is very nice. It has very nice people and is very well-maintained. It is a little bit dated as far as the rooms, but it is affordable. I think it would be a nice community. I am highly considering it. I was introduced to everybody that we met along the way and was told what their role was and what they did. The design of the room was very good. It is just that the facility is dated; I would date it 1980's. I saw their activities room and a room where they have get-togethers and exercises (that was actually going on at the time). It was very nice and has a relaxed atmosphere.

Amie Marchini Park Merced is still assisted living and memory care, but there are more people there that are more cognitive and more sociable because not as many of them have dementia or Alzheimer's, whereas the other facility is for patients that have more cognitive-type disabilities. They are not doing a whole lot right now because of COVID, they have to keep their distance, and they're following protocol, but they have activities just like they have at the other place. Everything looked really clean and taken care of, and it looked like they were following all their protocol for COVID.

We chose Park Merced for my mother-in-law. I guess it's been fine. We can't really go in there because of the whole COVID thing. She's doing really well. She's getting physical therapy. I know she's been eating a lot better than she was. She got a hair cut yesterday when we went to visit her, they styled her hair and stuff. She's doing really well there. She broke her leg, so she's needs help with bathing and getting dressed, she's getting where she can walk to the bathroom with her walker, but she had to do that with assistance, but she's getting stronger. Her goal is she wants to come home within like maybe the next month or so. She said the food's too salty and the mashed potatoes are always too cold. I know the staff was coming to her room, but we can't be there, we just see her through the window, but when the people come into the room they've always been nice and really helpful. There were a couple of times that we brought stuff there, and paperwork that she needed to sign, but we're not sure it ever made it to her, so we've had to repeat bringing things. But they're pretty good about trying to fix any problems that are going on. She said that they have games. It's a really nice building and the grounds were really nice.

My mother stayed at Amie Marchini Park Merced. The staff was great and friendly. They just had so many residents, they weren't able to get her the one-on-one care that she needed. The place was clean, well run, and nice, but they had a higher patient-caregiver ratio than my mother required.

Amie Marchini Park Merced was strictly assisted living. If they had a memory care unit, I would not have moved my mother. The personnel was very accommodating and my mom said they took the best care of her. She never complained about the staff, but she complained about the food. They had a lot of activities and a calendar.

Park Merced is definitely one of the nicer homes that we visited in the Merced area. When we placed my grandfather here a very big concern was the food because he is such a picky eater but the meals are good portioned and taste delicious, Another plus was that they have a pretty good sized parking lot so its not hard to go and visit. The staff is on point and very kind. They make it a point to introduce themselves to the patient and the family. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to place a loved one in a home.

Park Merced Assisted Living in Merced, CA is a pretty nice Assisted Living Facility. I went there in the month of June to see my great aunt. It is a fairly old facility, I think around 30 years, but it is still in great condition. During my visits it was always clean and kept up. The staff was friendly and helpful in most occasions. My great Aunt enjoys staying in this facility and has said she has made many friends. She is well taken care of by the nurses and says that they are very sweet. She likes the fact that they offer amenities such as arts and crafts time, as well as bingo. She also mentioned a Music and Performing Arts program that she enjoys. She enjoys the food that is provided here as well. I would rate this facility 4 out of 5 stars, as it is one of the better ones I have been to.
