"I chose Country Villa Madera Rehab. It's a very nice facility, and we liked the place. It's very clean, and the staff is really good. We're happy with it. It's in a very nice area of town in a really nice, quiet neighborhood without a lot of traffic. They have a nice area, like a little park, for families to hold functions, like barbeques and birthday parties."

"I thought La Sierra would be a great place for my uncle. They had everything that we need for him and 24-hour nursing staff. They had shared rooms, which seemed roomy. "

"My father-in-law is at the Hy-Lond. The meals are OK, not great, but he's pretty happy with everything now. It's not perfect, but I think they're doing a good job overall. "

"Right now, my husband is in Franciscan Convalescent Hospital. He has Alzheimer's. I think he's getting good care for what they have to deal with. I think they're very caring. With regards to the condition of the place, everything in there is old, but it's clean, and it doesn't smell bad unless somebody has an accident, and they get to it right away. So it's clean, but it's just an older facility. I haven't eaten their food, but I've been there when my husband is eating, and it looks pretty good. The activities are very limited. I would like to see more outside activities with them. They have a nice fenced-in area in the back with a bird terrarium. They have someone in there that keeps them busy, plays music, and plays games with them."
