I got the impression that Prestige Assisted Living at Lancaster had a good activities program, and they had a very enthusiastic activities coordinator. The staff who gave the tour was very good. And I thought its cleanliness was very high quality. It's very clean. The atmosphere was pleasant, and it felt like home. The rooms were a good size. They weren't large by any means, but they were sufficiently large for a single individual.

I toured Prestige Assisted Living at Lancaster. They're pretty good. I only got to know them through the tour, but they seem friendly. I have tried their food. They have exercises and games.

I toured Prestige Assisted Living at Lancaster. The employees stood out to me. They were very helpful. I watched them interact with the residents. Everybody seemingly was really friendly. It just seemed like a very relaxed place. The exterior was worn, like the furniture on the outside definitely needed to be upgraded, and the interior was a little worn down. They could invest more in the upkeep of the facility. The rooms were just standard and very basic, but they were in good condition.

They were having a little health fair when I was at Prestige Assisted Living at Lancaster. They had all kinds of professionals to help out people that had questions. The place was in excellent shape. I saw the assisted living, but the staff went over the whole thing. Basically, I talked to her about both assisted living and memory care. They offer meals. If you can't get out of bed or get out of your room, they will deliver them to your room.

Prestige Assisted Living at Lancaster was my first choice. It was nice. I talked with Irene, who was their community relations director, and she gave me all the information that I needed about the rooms, the cost, and the services that they provide. She was very gracious, very professional, and explained everything in detail. The facility looked beautiful. I toured an apartment and the studio. They were spacious, would meet my needs, and seemed to be comfortable. They have housekeepers that would help me with keeping my room clean, washing my clothes, and with my medical care needs (if I have to).

I have a relative staying there currently, I would usually call them 4-5 times a week and they would always talk about how about the bills they have every month are starting to be to much for them. Our family has tried to talk to the administration about it but they wouldn’t do anything about it. I also feel that my relative has been not getting the care they deserve, my relative would call me saying how ever since the pandemic started everything has been going down hill like the people who take care of them have been more rude/disrespectful, very impatient, more sloppy when taking care of them, etc. these elderly people deserve a way better place to spend there days at. I would definitely not recommend not bring your elderly friends/ family here.

I've already had one tour at Prestige Assisted Living at Lancaster. We've gotten all the preliminary information, even possibly picked out a room for my mom. They were extremely, extremely helpful. The rooms were all nice. She looked at 1-bedrooms and the studios. We were able to see three of each, and they have availability right now. We saw the dining room and actually toured everything. They have an activities director and an activities room. They were actually doing some things when we peaked in there. When that got done, we spoke with the activities director. We got a copy of the menu and met two of the house aids, along with the medication supervisor. The general manager just happened to be in the area, so he came over and he met with us. From the time you walk in, you get a very warm feeling. It just seems like a quiet, lovely place. Their prices were reasonable as well. They were comparable to other locations. I actually I looked at a couple of board and care homes, which were more money for less services. I did interact with a few of the residents who said they were very happy there, and everybody looked well. It just had a good feeling. I've been in a couple of places like this before, and sometimes you can tell right off. You don't really know until someone's there, if the level of care is what you expect it to be. You pay for different levels of care, so I'll be looking at that as well. I had a good impression.

We went with Heavenly Home Care for my dad. I looked at a few places with some people and this one seemed the best. My dad is now in his second month there. I would recommend them. The place is nice and clean. The people seem very caring. So far, everything has been good. They have been taking good care of my dad. They play some games, watch some movies, and once a month, they take them out to the theater.

Prestige Assisted Living was great. We liked it, but it was too expensive. We went in the weekend, so there were no activities, but the staff was nice, friendly, and helpful. We also met a couple whose mom was placed in assisted living, and they're really impressed with the place.

Prestige Assisted Living at Lancaster was excellent for my dad, but it was very expensive. They had studios and apartments. The studio was very beautiful, but I was looking for something a little bit bigger because he is a fall risk and his stuff would have not fit in the room. Other than that, I liked the place. I liked that they had monitored supervision and had all the amenities needed for the seniors. It would've been nice for him to be able to come down the stairs and eat and communicate with the others that live in the building. What stood out the most was that there was the family room if you wanted to throw a birthday party for your loved one. They also had a theater. The staff was very nice and the customer service was wonderful. He showed me a package of the services that they provide.

Prestige at Lancaster was very nice. It seemed very clean and well organized but a little small for what we were looking for. The rooms were too small. The dining set up looked fine for the seniors but a little small. The staff members were excellent, especially David. He went out of his way to walk us around and show us everything. He was very nice and introduced us to people as we went.

Prestige was a small community. The staff member who showed us around was real pleasant, seemed to know all the residents, and was talking to them and saying hi. I liked that it had one side for your typical medical assistance and the other side was more for memory, which was a more controlled environment and I liked that. I think my mom's going to have some memory issues later, so it would be nice if she was in something like that. She could start on the one side with my stepdad and then as she progresses, she could go to the other side if needed. I saw the menus and they have sent me additional menus since then, too. I didn't taste the food, but it looked very appetizing and had a nice variety. It was clean and nice looking; I just thought the rooms were kind of small.

I went and talked to the staff at Prestige (Prestige Assisted Living at Lancaster), and after an hour, I knew I had found the place. They were very accommodating and very honest. They told us exactly what they can and cannot do. My father-in-law couldn't walk too much, but he was able to get the apartment downstairs right next to the nurses' office. We have him there, and I'm so glad that we picked this place. The nurse, Barbara, is on top of everything. She is so good about medication and makes sure that my father-in-law is OK. They're notifying me about everything, which is really good, and that's what we needed. We are very pleased. My father-in-law is very picky with food, but he loves the food there. I also like the fact that their food is very healthy. They sit down like in a restaurant. On the menu for the main dishes, there's like two or three different choices, and then they have things a la carte. They have different options if they choose not to have that.

Prestige was very nice and clean. The apartments were all very nice and would have worked for my mom, but the price was more than another facility.

I visited Prestige Assisted Living. The facility wasn’t bad, but the person that met us was very unpersonable. He took phone calls while we were there. He did not look at that. That was very strange and very odd. I thought the apartments were all right. I thought there were a couple of things that we did like about it, which was they had the ability to have a rolled in shower. It was near where my parents currently lived. They could improve on their salesmanship for one thing. I that was the one thing that just gave me a bad taste in my mouth, but other than that, I thought the facility was very decent.

We visited Expressions Memory Care at Prestige Assisted Living at Lancaster, and we saw a shared room. It had enough room for two twin beds, a small loveseat with a television, a little sink, and a little cupboard area. The staff was wonderful. He knew a lot of them by first name. He made eye contact, and talked to the other residents as he walked through the facility. They had an outside porch area where they could sit. They had a dining room area, and a smaller one that they eat their lunches out. Then they had a couple different seating areas like one with television, and another one with people who were sitting around talking. The beginning part of the facility was the regular assisted living, and then the back of it was the memory care unit that had locked doors. You had to put in a code to get in.

I visited Prestige, but it is an Alzheimer's facility stage 1, 2, 3, and 4. They are starting at phase 1 where my dad would probably be in a two-bedroom room, which he will not accept. They start at $3500 a month. The facility was good. There were so many activities and so many things going on, but Dad just doesn't want to participate. The staff was very accommodating. They were very nice. The facility was very clean and very bright. There was a nice big dining room and a nice TV area, but the only thing that bothered me was if my dad ever got to the point where he couldn't make it to the bathroom, or have a catheter, which they don't like to do because of infection. Overall, the staff was great, and the place was clean. If I had the money, I would give my dad a private room and the extra care.

We visited Prestige. It was a great place. I wasn't aware of what everything entailed, how much it would cost, if they would take him, or what needed to be done, so it was very informative. The lady there was very helpful, and I received quite a bit of information. We had lunch when we were there, and it was excellent.

Prestige Assisted Living actually gets more involved with their care. I think they can assist more with the hygiene and the ADL with the residents. But for the most part, they have a very nice dining area. They encourage them to eat in the dining area. They have a lot of activities there like bingo, piano, and arts and crafts. The rooms are nice, well-kept, and clean. They are not super modern, but they are really nice. They have a little refrigerator and a little microwave. They have a sink and a bathroom. The bathroom doors are wide so the wheelchair can get through. It is the floor type shower, so nobody has to step into them. My grandmother is on the first floor there, and it’s a really nice place. They are really involved. And if you tell them something, they'll take it. It’s all constructive criticism there. They listen, and they are open. They are involved, and I appreciate that.

We visited Prestige, and we were impressed with it. We would take it up if we needed it. It was very impressive, clean, organized, and pretty. The one that we looked at was a two-bedroom apartment, and it had just been recently re-painted and re-carpeted, so it looked beautiful. The staff was very accommodating. They were very pleasant and eager to answer questions. They had activities charted all over the calendar. There was a library. There was a jigsaw puzzle table set up. There were schedules for outings, crafts, and things like that. They also had beauty parlor and laundry.

Prestige Assisted Living is a lovely facility, but it's expensive for someone with memory care. For a single room, it would start out at $5025 and that is at Level 1 and she is at Level 2 because she needs more care. The rooms were large and very nice. They had a large area for the residents and they had a separate area for the memory care. It was part of a same facility, but it was a locked area. This facility is nice for someone with quite a bit of money. Everyone there seemed to be quite happy and the ones that were in the memory care, they were very well kept. The rooms were nice and clean and I'm sure that the residents get good care there. If we had the money, this would be the place that we would put her in.

Prestige is a really nice place. The staff were very nice and they have a lot to offer, but they weren't interested in me because I'm too young.

The staff was very friendly, the facility was clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable to be in.When I first arrived, I was hesistent about going in. I do not like "old people" homes. I was actually very impressed with this place. There was no bad odors which I have smelled in other homes. The rooms were very homey, and the people seemed genuine, not fake, The elderly patients all seemed to be clean, attended to,and happy. I saw many relatives visiting, including younger family members. The staff was very attentive to everyone's needs. There were certain rules, of course, but no one seemed to mind. I saw staff doing patient's laundry, and tidying up their rooms. Those patients who didn't have visitors and a little room to watch tv in. There seemed to be a "family" feeling among the patients. I would definitely reccommend this facility to all of my friends and family.

Overall I would say that this facility definitely impressed me. I did not experience any negative thoughts or feelings towards any of the staff. Which is honestly surprising. In most elderly or assisted living homes I have always heard mixed reactions about the people that staff these places. My grandmother had an overall positive experience during her stay. She never had anything bad to say about the people that were helping her on a day to day basis. In fact, it was a great help to her spirits and she often mentioned how much she enjoyed the help to me. I was visiting her at least once per week for several months and I always had a good and welcoming feeling from the staff every time I visited. Which made it much easier for me to want to visit my Grandmother more often. Overall, this is definitely a place I would recommend others to go to. Great, honest and supportful people as staff members. That to me is very important in any assisted living facility.

The people (nurses, staffing) were quite friendly. The home was nice, seemed to have quite a few things for my great grandmother to do (activities), and the staff tried to get everyone involved in the activities. I would have liked for there to be more of a social atmosphere, but as it was just assisted living, I imagine it was difficult to get everyone on the same page. The grounds were nice, especially considering that it was out in the desert. The one thing I would have liked more is if they would have checked on her more often. They only came twice a week, but no one double checked to see if she was taking her medicine as scheduled. They also didn't seem to inspect the apartments to ensure that it was being kept clean. To me, an assisted living home (or complex), should be just that - assisted living. I didn't think that meant that they were left to fend for themselves, other than going to the grocery store. When I would visit, it would take about an hour to clean out her studio apartment of her laundry, because she would hide it under the bed. I had thought that the nurses would at least check on this, and had spoken to the lead nurse several times requesting that they double check. It was a little frustrating, but overall, I would say that my great grandmother enjoyed her time there. I know it made her feel like she still had some independence.

I wasn't crazy about going to this facility. Such places usually give me the creeps, not sure why. They just always have. Shockingly enough, when I arrived I thought that the facility was very nice. My Grandmothers room seemed very spacious, and everything was tidy. The staff was very friendly, and it seemed like my Grandmother liked them really well. They have many activities for the residents. I wasn't too excited to try the cuisine there when my Grandmother asked me to join her for lunch, but it was quite tasty. Much better than I had expected for sure. I admit I was a bit worried when my mother decided to put my Grandmother in the facility, as you hear so many horror stories of the elderly being abused and taken advantage of in some facilities. However, after seeing her there and happy I am much more at ease and will definitely be visiting her more often.
