"My tour at Hay Creek Lodge went well. It was good. The apartment had a kitchen in it with a refrigerator and a stove. It's not furnished yet, so you bring your own furniture. They had some little outdoor spaces like a deck with chairs. The woman that did the tour was great."

"My mother was at Edgewood Mandan, and that was a very nice and clean place. People were friendly and very, very helpful. Her room was nice and clean too. You got to bring some of your own stuff though. They had game nights, entertainment, coloring, bingo, poker nights, dog therapy, and classic car shows. They took them to certain places and interests around the community, but that was before COVID."

"I thought Edgewood Vista was very nice. They had an opening if I had decided to go ahead and put Dad in there. It was mostly women in the memory care, the locked-down area that he would have been in. But I thought it was nice. They said that for the few men that they had, they actually had a man come in once a week just to do some men things. And they would actually leave the facility to do something, so I thought that was very nice. It had a nice homey kitchen area where they ate, instead of a great big dining room. It is a small room with round tables that looked out onto the backyard, so I thought that was kind of nice. I didn't notice a whole lot of activities. They had all the little old ladies and a couple of men that they had there exercising as a group. Otherwise, I know they had activities. It was smaller, more personal, and I think there was a sincere interest in the people there. "

"My mom is currently staying in St. Gabriel's community, and it is a high quality and caring community. We are very pleased with the care that our mother is receiving there. We're very pleased with the atmosphere, the staff, and the activities. My father was there previously, and we were very pleased with the care he received as well. I think it's very affordable, and the quality is well worth the price. I've looked at the menu, but I haven't eaten there. They're not doing that yet because of precautions, so family members aren't allowed there now. My mother speaks very highly of the quality of the food, and the amount. She said it's very good food, very high quality, and a lot of food."

"The staff is super. The rooms are nice and the food is good. It is the best kept secret in Bismarck. Denise, Corrine, Sandy, Darin, Twana, Sheila and the whole staff go above and beyond to bring the best of service and compassion to the residents. Our family is thankful for the care our brother gets."
