"I like that Hay Creek Lodge was on the smaller side and more homey. The only staff member I met was Nicole, and she was very nice and helpful. We also have some relatives that have just moved in there, and they're very pleased with the food and everything. We weren't there very long, so I didn't see any activity. I saw the dining area and it looked really nice, but nobody was eating at that time. We didn't really get a tour. We were walking in with our relatives, and then I talked to Nicole a couple of times. The apartment was really big. I was surprised how big, nice, and new it was. They had new carpeting and appliances. Everything was kind of new. I liked it. My relatives there are my son's in-laws."

"We had a really nice experience with the facility. My grandma really liked living there and the nursing staff was quite nice and friendly. I didn't like it at first because I didn't think she needed to live there and be watched but once I got over the initial shock I realized she really enjoyed it. My grandma was very independent and was used to doing everything for herself and that is why I believe she did so well at Edgewood. Eventually she got sick and had to go to a full fledged nursing home but in her time spent at Edgewood she was great and the staff helped us feel ok with the decicision to put her in a assisted living facility. "
