My friend has moved into Holiday Monarch Estates, and I don't think she should have. That is independent living, not assisted living because I see a lot of people that shouldn't even be there. They're all hiring private nurses and they're expensive. It's not a place for anybody that needs assistance in any way, to pay extra for everything. If you want your meal brought up to your room, it's $5. If you want someone to give you medicine every day, you have to pay for that. Everything was extra, extra, extra. That's why I was there 24-7, so I could do everything. It's independent living. If you are independent, it's a nice place. They have nice food and nice people. It's great. It's just that she went downhill so fast, I've never seen anybody do it as fast as she did. it's beautiful and well-kept. The decorations for Christmas are awesome. Someone comes in and sings, or they'll do crafts, or they'll have an ice cream sundae day. They also do bingo and minor exercise programs. They do have a little gym with some bikes and striders and things like that. They have a hairdresser that comes in once a week. There's a chapel on the third floor. I heard of a pet group that comes in because they welcome your pets at an extra charge. It doesn't differ what size, some of these dogs were really big, but they had pets that they've had forever. So, they let them in, but it is an extra charge. The food is good. I wish it had a little bit more variety, but it was good. It was well made. They have three meals a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The only thing I would complain about is they serve you coffee like for breakfast. Then there are those beans that you push to get the coffee out of those. If you get there at 7:30 AM, they're empty and they never refill. But you get a choice of juices, fruits, all different kinds of cereal, hot cereal, and cold cereal; you get your choices. Usually, at lunch, it's a choice of two entrees with a salad, and then at night, it's a soup with one entree. But they also have what they call a healthy choice at the bottom, and you can have that as an alternative lunch or dinner. So, that's really nice. The staff were friendly at the beginning, but when my friend started getting sick, it was getting more and more uncooperative, and I was getting frustrated. But they allowed me to eat in the cafeteria to get a break. My friend would sleep, and I would go down to dinner quick, and they let me have that. That was nice, it's usually $5, I guess. In terms of value for money, if it had been me, I'd give it a five. I wouldn't mind living there at all. But for someone who started getting sick and has no help, it's not a place to be. It's strictly independent, I cannot stress that enough. You have to do everything yourself.

Holiday Monarch Estates was beautiful. They recently did a renovation, so it looks nice to me. The colors were nice. It's very pretty. The room looked nice, the floors were clean, and everything looked new to me. It's a lot nicer than I expected for some and looks comfortable. The manager was friendly. Everything was great. Something was wrong with the elevator at the time I was there, but I think they were getting it renovated. I think if that's getting fixed, it will look great. I liked it. I'm going to recommend it to my mother. The staff seemed friendly. It seemed like they were busy doing their job but they stopped by to say hello.

We toured Holiday Monarch Estates. The rooms were nice, but it was a high step to get into the shower, so I wasn't impressed with it. The staff who gave us the tour was very good. They had a nice restaurant, and they had recreation rooms. They had transportation to take people to places.

Rooms are more expensive than shown on the website. The smallest room is about $500/month higher than the price shown. Food sometimes vrry good. Pot roast, fried.chicken and fried fish are often good. Too.many meals have a pork with no flavor. One staff server is very impolite. This problem has been discussed with managers.but no changes have occurred. The faciliity is getting old. Problems have occurred with water, gas, and electrical needs. The HVAC needs to have smaller zones to be more effective.

I went to Monarch Estates. It was nice, the people there are professional, the facility was outstanding. I saw a studio. It was clean, it was nice. They had an atrium, they had another facility adjacent to it, where they can host parties and different things like that. They said they had a library, they had larger rooms on each floor, and they also had a chapel. It's well maintained.

I liked Monarch Estates. It's a nice place, and I think my mom would have liked it. Unfortunately, she worsened really quickly and passed away, but I think she would have enjoyed it more than my father. He's had Alzheimer's for six or seven years, and he's not that active, so it wouldn't do a lot of things for him because he won't be able to enjoy it. The staff were great. I enjoyed talking to them. They are top notch. It would have been more opportunity for my mom to be social. They were rebuilding the double room that I was interested in. She was able to call them back, and they said they did move that room, and they had a single available with two beds. It has a lot of variations that you can do, and I thought the facility was well laid out and well thought out. I was very impressed with it.

My dad will probably move into Monarch Estates around Dec 31st. We went there, it was good, and everything was great. The dining area is nice, they're big, it's in a room. The room is like an apartment, you have a kitchen, bedroom, the living room where you're gonna be sitting, they've got cable that comes with it, it's a lot, so it was nice. It was clean. Everything is included, his lunch, and snacks. I only talked to the manager, but when I come in it's a very good environment, it's very warm, it has a good vibe about it. Everybody was speaking nicely. They got all the veterans there, so I know that he would like it. They got a place where you could wash, they get to wash, laundry and stuff, barber shop, they do the hair, nails and feet, pedicure, you get all of it done.

Monarch Estates was very nice. The staff was very attentive, very concerned, and answered all our questions. I saw them interacting with the residents during lunch, and everything was just topnotch. I was very pleased with the facilities. The rooms were fine for what we were looking for. Everything was perfect. The dining area was very clean and very organized. They had game nights and transportation.

I stayed with Monarch Estates. It's a very good place to live, but it's just too expensive. The staff was really good to us, and the rooms were beautiful. The food is mostly good and sometimes not, just like everywhere else. There's a small exercise area, although it wasn't very much. They do activities and crafts with the residents, and they also go on tours. What I didn't like was that they raise the rent every year at the end of the year.

Monarch Estates was very nice, clean, and just beautiful. I would like to live there. The rooms have a kitchen that you can use, they have a guest room for visitors, and you can get extra help if needed. The staff was very friendly and very welcoming. Everything was very good.

Monarch Estates was very nice. They had a place where they could have company, play dominoes, throw little parties, and things like that. Their chef brought refreshments in. The ladies that I played dominoes with and the other residents were very nice and seemed to be happy.

My mother stayed at Monarch Estates for about 2 or 3 years, so I was there almost every other day. It was a great place. They took care of her. Some of the help went over and above. The only negative part is their financing. She had to pay for a month in advance, and we had to pay a month after she died.

Monarch Estates is nice and clean, and the people are extra friendly. They will do anything that mother asks them to do, and she has been well satisfied there. Her apartment has a bathroom, a good sized bedroom with 2 big closets, a kitchenette, and then a little sitting area with a big closet, so it is very nice. They do bingo and exercises every day, and they have outings. They go to Walmart and different places around town that they want to go. There is something going on just about every day.

Monarch Estates is bigger than the other place I visited. I liked the fact that if you go into the rooms and the balconies from each of the rooms, you could actually see the yard, and the yard had trees; it was very tranquil. It?s clean. There seemed to be a lot of people, and the residents were eager to come up to you to tell you how they like the place. The staff went above and beyond. They gave us a tour, and they sat down and asked you what you were looking for. They also wanted me to bring my dad to look at the place.

We're very impressed with Monarch Estates. My sister enjoys it and has a nice apartment. My sister is independent but gets assistance. The staff, the room, and the dining area are quite nice. It's well-appointed and looks good. It could use new carpeting in some areas, like the elevator, but the artwork and furnishings are beautiful.

This is a very nice facility. Seems there is plenty to keep the residents busy during the day. The food is good as is the company.

Monarch Estates seemed very nice; I was very impressed. The staff seemed friendly, and the services were nice. The reason we didn't choose it had nothing to do with the facility itself. It was physically wonderful for the right price, but my mother needed extra support, and they just didn't offer it. The dining room was very attractive. I did not have a taste of the food, but I have been there at meal time, and it did look attractive. The apartments were very nicely done, and they had a wide range of sizes. Some of them were really large and pleasant; they were beautiful really. They have different groups coming in. They are near a university, so a lot of good quality entertainment comes in. They also take the residents by van for shopping and that kind of thing. They have a walking trail, exercise equipment, and a library.

Monarch Estates is large, but not too large. The rooms are nice sized. The staff is nice. They have good activities, and there is a lot to do. They have something everyday. The food seems to be very good. They have wonderful housekeeping staff that comes in once a week. My sister is very happy there.

My father-in-law is in Monarch Estates, and he seems to enjoy it there. The rooms are very nice and very spacious for him. The food is awesome. The staff is very helpful to us. My father-in-law goes to a few activities. We chose it because we can afford it. The location is great because it is only A 10-minute drive from my house and 5-minute drive from my wife's work. So, if something happens, we can get there quick.

We went to Monarch Estates. My wife liked the 1-bedroom apartment because it had a nice layout, but I'm not sure that it's big enough to accommodate all the things we want to keep. The 2-bedroom would be much better, but she's against that because it has two bathrooms. She only needs one bathroom. They were a little expensive. They have their own crafts show. They have a nice dining area that makes you want to eat meals there. But we're not really big eaters, so I'm not sure if that would be very attractive to us. They have people who come in, but I don't think they have an assisted living facility if it is needed. They have a number of properties throughout the United States, and you could stay in them on a short-term basis without any extra cost, so that might help if we like to do any traveling to see our grandkids.

This place will bend over backwards until you sign the paper work. Then it changes they try to charge you for everything and have no proof of the charges. The food is like a buffet taste bland and lacking, If you love your family member then find another olace

The place is very nice. They also do housekeeping and they can wash the sheets but you do your personal laundry. The staff are very nice and friendly. We ate there two to three times and the food was very good. I sure would recommend Monarch Estates.

Monarch Estates is a very nice facility for my mother-in-law. She has an apartment with everything. The food is nice. They also serve good balanced meals. She has a lot of activities she can participate in. They provide transportation for the residents who want to go places. The facility also offers housekeeping services for their residents. The staff is fine. They check on her everyday. She is doing really well being there and I would recommend this facility.
