"We went to look at Overlake Terrace. We liked being able to see the rooms. We liked being able to have the option to have a meal there, which we didn't have time to do. We liked seeing all the different amenities that they have, and appreciated all the information that we were given about prices and how to gauge additional costs if the assisted living portion is needed. Their memory care is on a different floor, but the independent and assisted living rooms are the same. They were very responsive to all the questions that I had. The staff who gave us the tour was really wonderful. They provide a microwave and a refrigerator. They have laundry rooms. You can do your own laundry, and that is included in the price. They also have laundry service if you need that, and that would be an additional cost."

"My mother stayed at the Caroline Kline Galland Home in a transitional care unit, so it was a little different than the regular nursing home for long-term care. It was skilled nursing, so they took fine care of her. They had plenty of activities there. I had a mother-in-law who stayed there for eight years in the memory care unit. It is a perfectly good nursing home. They offer all kinds of activities like games, entertainment, and sing-alongs. The food was fine. It’s kosher food because it is a Jewish home. "

"I encountered Legacy House when I was looking for a facility in which I could gain some experience for volunteering and to get a feel as to what the duties of an OTA, the occupation I am interested in, entailed. I managed to secure and obtain a position in which I could carefully observe and participate under the eye of a licensed OT through my aunt who worked as a human resources manager for the center previously. One thing I noticed was the kind and attentive patient care issued to all residents and the cleanliness. The state of the facility spoke for itself and there could be no complaints as to it's cleanliness. Seniors were allowed to participate in many different planned activities such as bingo, rehabilitative exercise, art projects such as decoupage. One thing however I must note is the obvious need for more staff. Other than that this facility is top notch. Residents are obviously well cared for and the staff is well loved noting from the genuine smiles and greetings every one of them gets. Anyone looking for a great care center in Seattle should consider Legacy House. "

"Horizon House is a big place. They have two buildings that are 19 story-apartment and another smaller one. The assisted living and the skilled nursing facilities are also nearby. It's very convenient so if either of us would go into assisted living, we can still be near each other. The rooms were very nice. Our apartment has a full kitchen, so I can also cook. But we also get a credit in the dining room which we can use in any way we want. It has excellent facilities for exercise, a pool, a clinic and so many services. They take you shopping to the grocery stores three times a week. The staff were very nice, very pleasant and helpful. They had really more of what we wanted and we will move there in a couple of months. "

"My mother is a client at hyatt adult day center. My mother loves it. Totally recommend this place. If you have a loved that needs adult day care, Hyatt is it! :) "

"Do NOT rent this venue's multipurpose room! Cheri, the contact there, has very poor communication and held back $150 of our $500 deposit because she claimed that there was water on the floor, things in disarray, and our planner didn't check in with her prior to leaving following our wedding. This is absolutely untrue on all counts and an outrageous amount to hold back for what she said she needed to do, which was standard cleaning and reorganization following a major event. I am outraged! "
