"We have money down on a room in Overlake Terrace. As soon as my father-in-law says, ‘Yes, let’s move,’ we’ll move him in there. The only thing he doesn’t like is that he walks in and there’s a lot of people in wheelchairs, so he doesn’t feel he is ready for that. Otherwise, it is a very beautiful facility. They offer quite a few activities in other rooms, but I did not go over the activity completely. Dining was very nice and very comfortable feeling. "

"The facility seemed very clean and the staff were friendly. They seemed to do a good job providing the necessary services that their residents required. They were able to provide a variety of services based on each person's individual needs. The facility was in a beautiful neighborhood, and it was a very safe place too. Nice for the resident and nice for family that would be coming to visit. The facility did not seem crowded and everyone had lots of space to themselves. Overall, it was a good visit and it was good to see that a place like that exists if it is ever needed. "

"I encountered Legacy House when I was looking for a facility in which I could gain some experience for volunteering and to get a feel as to what the duties of an OTA, the occupation I am interested in, entailed. I managed to secure and obtain a position in which I could carefully observe and participate under the eye of a licensed OT through my aunt who worked as a human resources manager for the center previously. One thing I noticed was the kind and attentive patient care issued to all residents and the cleanliness. The state of the facility spoke for itself and there could be no complaints as to it's cleanliness. Seniors were allowed to participate in many different planned activities such as bingo, rehabilitative exercise, art projects such as decoupage. One thing however I must note is the obvious need for more staff. Other than that this facility is top notch. Residents are obviously well cared for and the staff is well loved noting from the genuine smiles and greetings every one of them gets. Anyone looking for a great care center in Seattle should consider Legacy House. "

"We lived in Horizon House since 2009. It was an excellent place, the staff was very good, very caring, and helpful. We are very pleased to live here. We have a very nice apartment on the patio level of the building, and it’s very comfortable. There are 70 committees and there’s always something going on all the time. The food is excellent. They have a very nice dining room, and they have a bistro where you can just stop for hamburger or things like that. I was impressed by how friendly the people were. "

"We love full life for our thirty something son with developmental delays and physical handicaps. He gets wonderful attention there for nursing and OT. H also gets his mental health care there. In addition to all these health services, he participates in activities to stimulate his mind. The staff are caring and do a terrific job. "
