"We chose Caritas House Assisted Living for my father because it's clean, it didn't smell, it's very nice, and it's very close to my house. The staff members were everything they should have been. The place looks great and it's located right next to St. Agnes. The rooms are a tad small. The dining area was very good and very clean."

"I was worked w/them through an agency. Over all the care is wonderful , inter-generation environment , they have different activities & recreation for the patients. How ever they had visitors in the NEW building on Windsor blvd , & they knew they was coming and they would be strapped for help , they called the agency & said they had an available shift open for Tuesday & Thursday 9-4:30 , iWent there & Lynette told me she had visitors and that they would be leaving at 12pm. I was working my but off until irealized the visitors was gone & Lynette came over to me and told that I can go home & when I looked at the time & it was only 12:30pm , so they used the agency to cover up the fact that they don't have enough help for all of those people , & used me just for 3.5 hours when they told the agency it was a minimum of 4 hours at least. So from what I've seen they are strapped for help and do a lot of covering up . the care is great but the way the handle business is not appropriate "

"My aunt is at Winter Growth. It's beautiful. It's pretty much memory care units and also an assisted living unit. So it's two in one. They're separate in terms of workers and in terms of how they operate. They're all single rooms. No shared rooms. The staff is pretty much good. The food is good. They have physical, occupational, and respiratory therapy, all of that, at least five days per week onsite. They have activities on site. It's a wonderful place. The staff is great. They're awesome. They're wonderful staff. They have three prepared meals per day. They have a chef onsite seven days per week. The structure of the building is wonderful. It has more than enough room for all the clients to roam on the memory side. It has a courtyard that you can go outside, go into the garden, and pick whatever they want to pick and come back inside. You don't have to supervise them because it is a courtyard, which means that you can't leave the premises. They're just in between two buildings. They provided a garden there and they can go to the garden whenever they like. The doors are always open for them to go out, there are benches out, they can just sit there and relax and come back when they're ready. It has a lot of social areas where they can sit with each other or they can go by themselves. So it's great."

"My brother attends Active Day and he cannot wait to go. The staff is very caring and knows each person in their care. Lots of activities to participate in including trips during the day for lunch, shopping, even a Harbor cruise. The staff is laid back so it feels more like family care than institution care. Appreciate the care they give to each individual. "

"My mother is at Stella Maris in Lutherville-Timonium. It's pretty, clean, and inviting. Her room is spacious. The staff is wonderful. Right now, there are not a lot of activities because of COVID, but they had somebody come and play the guitar. They're just getting back to an activity schedule. The food is fine, and the dining area is clean. They have a beauty salon and a small chapel."
