We used Aurora Zilber Family Hospice for my aunt. We did have a friend whose husband was there, and she had good things to say about it. We were extremely pleased. Care was excellent. We couldn't have asked for anything better. They were very good about keeping my aunt comfortable. They were informing us of how my aunt's night had been. They had weekly staff meetings that the family was invited to go to. You can ask questions at that time. When I went to that, all of their key staff were there. It was the medical director, the spiritual director, the social worker, and the nurse who was caring for her. The staff's work ethics were great. They were always coming in, checking on her, and checking on us to see if we needed anything. The agency's management in terms of scheduling and billing was good. First my aunt went in under acute care, so Medicare covered it, and as soon as she was taken out of that status and put into standard care, they gave us a call right away letting us know how much it would be per day. The financial person was very good. She would answer any questions that you have. They billed out weekly. I absolutely recommend this hospice agency.
