Right at Home has been providing care to my parents for the past 18-months. At first it was daily care 7-days a week, but in the past months it has turned into 24/7 care. The caregivers are very professional and have a very good rapport with my parents as well as the rest of the family. They arrive on time and are very good at keeping us up to date on how our parents are doing and any changes to their health. My parents live in a very rural county so having them there has been a great help to us since most of us live at least an hour away. We are very lucky to have the wonderful and experienced caregivers for our parents!

It is certainly different. I was the caretaker for so long now the shoe is on the other foot. It has been a short time, but so far I like that most people are friendly and helpful.

It is a positive impact. We've only had four experiences, so we would need more. We would hope to increase socializing with people of my mom's age. We are happy so far. It is fulfilling, more than what we had previously. My mom goes to the library, the coffee hour and the people are better.

Vickie was able to help me with my elderly father the very next day .Our caregiver Christine was very kind and so helpful my father really enjoyed her visits .Diann the receptionist was super friendly and helpful with rescheduling. It has an effect on my daily life because there are some things I couldn't do without them. It is difficult to find help and if I knew who would be coming in that would be helpful. They need to be on a schedule so that they know they are supposed to come.

I totally depend on them to give me a bath and to get me up in the mornings. I don't get the same person all the time though. They needed to get the scheduling right and if somebody can't come, you shouldn't be left with no one. If someone doesn't come to help me, I have to stay in bed all day long because I can't walk and I can't get up and out on my own.

He doesn't like anybody except me, but they help me around the house and get laundry for me. I was able to get out of the house. They have always been there for me, they are really nice, I don't have any worries, and I haven't had any issues with anybody.

They adhere to meeting my little needs, as well as my larger needs and allow the person who is taking care of me constantly to get away for a while to do shopping. I like a lot of things, it depends on the person. Some of the girls are excellent and better than others.

In cases of inclement weather, they call to let me know if someone doesn't show up. The caregivers ask if I need extra time to myself, so she stays a little longer. The lady who came to do the initial evaluation took time to get to know us and asked questions. She matched us with someone she thought would be a good fit.
