My dad stayed at VITAS Inpatient Hospice. They were professional, and I think they did as good a job as they could. It’s a very nice facility.

Stay away from vitas Fort Worth. My brother was with them for almost a year. Poorly managed by team members. Our RN had the poorest interpersonal communication skills, and never was reprimanded for poor client service. Bottom line, money is the target market. Dignity and respect went out the door!

This is the only non-profit provider I know. That means they will charge only what the insurance will pay and ask for no more. They took very good care of my late wife for 3 months while she died from lung cancer and were super in teaching me to be a good care-giver. I was SO very thankful for their professionalism and help that I volunteered for them for 3 years. When it comes my time, these are the folks I want assuring I am as comfortable as possible during my trip from this earth.

We are extremely grateful to each of the staff who assisted us in the care and comfort of my wife in her final days and particularly her final hours. Their responsiveness to our needs in caring for her at any time of the day or night whether it be instructions over the phone or dispatching a nurse cannot be overstated. Thanks to each and every one of you.

We opted to get the services of Community Hospice of Texas for my mother because we were happy with the service that they had provided for my father in the past. The caregivers were attentive, caring and professional. I had no complaints with the agency.

I was very impressed with VITAS Hospice. They have nurses who are available to answer questions via telephone around-the-clock; who are very knowledgeable about symptoms related to the patient's current diagnosis. They were able to give advice over the phone on how to relieve patient symptoms without using extra medicine or making a visit to the ER necessary. The nurse took her time, explained everything, and knew exactly what she was talking about. I was very impressed with VITAS' after-hours help line.
