First of all, this happened around the Christmas Holidays. My Mother was in the hospital and the decision was made to take her back to her home and request the assistance of hospice. That's where Community Healthcare of Texas came in. Nurse representative, Allison, came to meet with at the hospital and explain the process and expectations regarding the management of my Mother's needs. They arranged transportation of my Mother to her home and once there Nurse Mary conducted her first checkup and explained in detail medication schedule and "emergency" contact. The following day Nurse BJ, appointed head nurse, came to check on my Mother and US. Patiently explained and educated siblings and I with how to do things. When things escalated to Crisis Care Level, BJ contacted Nurse Savala to assist us. I want to give thanks to the whole team and organization. They made a sad and stressful situation manageable. Giving us time to show our Love to Mom and her dignity throughout the transition. Always thankful; may others have the same experience.

The whole team of Community Healthcare of Texas was awesome. They were very caring and they helped a lot. They sent a nurse out once a week and we had an aide coming out to help my husband, but the thing that he liked the most was the hospice chaplain. She would come out every two weeks. They were all exceptional. Everything was according to our schedules.
