Amedisys Hospice Care Knoxville was responsible for my brother-in-law's care. They sent someone to bathe him twice a week and a nurse would see him twice a week as well. When he was nearing his death they came every day. They would send someone to take care of things at the appointed time. The scheduling with them was very easy, they were very interested in what we wanted to do and how we wanted to do it. If we had any questions we could call them 24 hours a day. They helped us understand what was going on and explained things to us. They told us, quite frankly, what was going to happen next because he was dying. They said that if we were concerned or if he has passed they would take care of everything like the funeral home or the people that would come out and get him. We called them after he passed and the guy was here in about 30 minutes and they took care of everything. They were incredibly good.
