I like that Visiting Angels is really good about keeping in touch and letting us know if our main caregiver can come or not. They have helped the most with having the caregiver help cook meals for them.

I would be crazy if not. He's got dementia, so for me, it's a break. I tell everybody about them. So far, the staff has been very good. The people working with my husband have been very good to him. They've helped him. They've been very dependable.

Sometimes they're here on time. We've had caregivers that have boiled things over on the stove and not told me. It's just not consistent. They could improve their communication, which I've said before when I've been interviewed. Their follow-up needs to improve so that I know when the caregivers are coming, who they are, and any information about them. The billing also needs to be improved, because sometimes I see we're billed for 5 minutes after the hour. The caregivers know when they need to be here and when they need to leave. The billing should be sharper and not nickel-and-dime.
