My mother is at home and receiving hospice care from Homeland at Home. We actually had them about a year ago, and so when this happened, they were the first people I called. Their caregivers are very kind and very professional. The billing goes right to Medicare, I guess. They have somebody come 3 days a week. They try to make it so that I can be there, or somebody else will be there with her, and they help us get her cleaned up. The scheduling is good. If I need more, they sometimes contract an outside agency. They even allow 30 hours a month of free service, which is kind of nice. The aide comes in and helps with morning care, so we get my mother cleaned up, and she assesses her. She doesn't stay long because it's basically just morning care, and I think all hospitals do that. Then the nurse comes, I think twice a week, to assess her and see how she's doing. If I need it, I could get more help. They're very excellent and very kind. They do a good job.

We have a caregiver from Homeland Hospice. They're fine. They have a nurse who comes in once a week to be with my mom as well as social workers, so we have everything we need.
