My son in law was taken to Claire House in the end stages of his cancer. The care he got here was nothing but amazing!. The staff took care of the needs of our patient everyday and kept him comfortable and pain free as much as possible. The facility is beautiful and each room has a deck when you look out it looks like you are in the mountains of Colorado. The staff not only took great care of my son in law but also family that were there to visit or stay with him. They always offered meals and drinks or snacks. They made everyone feel so welcomed and comfortable. It was such a blessing to my daughter who was his primary care giver until it got very stressful to care for him at home. My son in law loved being there. The room itself is very big with a daybed for overnight guests with all the pillows and blankets you may need. The staff was alway friendly and always willing to help or answer our questions. We felt so blessed that he could stay here .

this is a 'loving alternative for end-of-life care' facility. it is the only one of its kind in the united states. my father recently passed away and was brought to this facility to spend his last days there. it is a compassionate, caring, peaceful, beautiful place that makes you feel as if you were at home with your loved one. i can not say enough good things about this facility. the staff is amazing and totally centered on caring for your loved one in their last days and making them as comfortable as if they were in their very own home. they care for the family just as much also. they offer all the conveniences of home. i only wish there were more facilities like this. it is totally 100% free. i am so thankful that my dad was there when he passed. they took care of everything for us and were so helpful.
