Mercy Medical Center Homecare comes in and takes care of my husband three days a week. The therapists have been really on the ball about helping him with his physical problems and his speech. They leave it up to us to let them know if he needs it. An occupational therapist, a physical therapist, and a speech therapist come in. It's a good setup. They're so nice, to the point that he looks forward to them coming in. They tease him, and he teases them back. They work hard with him.

It is a home nurse from Mercy Hospital that they get you. They visit my parents at their house and give them what they need like medication and helping them with whatever they may need that day. They are not happy that there are strangers coming to their house at all, and they are not happy about going to an assisted living thing; it is hard to keep them happy. It has only been about a week, so at this point I don't know that I would recommend them. I don't think that they have been there long enough.

We had home care from Mercy Hospital. They were very caring, very helpful, and always on time. They were nurses, and they cared for his feet, checked his vitals every time they were here, and the physical therapist gave him physical therapy when he needed it, so they were very helpful people.

I am currently a client with them. I had a very large abdominal wound caused by a hernia repair. I have had care by several RN's and LPN from Mercy and all have been great. I am visited 3 times a week to clean my wound and check my VAC. I have never had a problem reaching them after hours or on the weekends if I ran into a problem. The care I receive routinely from Vicky and Becky, and Beth(after hours) have helped keep my recovery not only be quick but also helped keep my spirits high during a time when I could have very easily slipped into a depression. The girls that work here are great. I would recommend them for yourself or your loved one. You will be in caring and great hands!
