My Dad entered Aultman Hospital through the emergency services department. He was in very serious condition. Honestly I was totally displeased with the ER’s service. First we were waiting on our room to be cleaned then we waited on a heart monitor for transport. All told we were in ER 8 hrs and arrived to our room at 11 pm. After we were designated as Palliative Care things vastly improved in the level of care. The Doctors and nurses were well aware of our acute need and moved us into Hospice Care at the Woodlawn Campus. Compassionate Care and Hospice was a God send for us. The entire staff of nurses and aides were inattentive, often ignoring requests for help. The administration side of things was even worse. They seemed too rushed and disorganized. Items of my grandmother's were lost. We arranged transportation to take her to another facility and they showed up on the wrong day. This place really needs to get their act together. They are nothing like other Aultman facilities.
