Horrible communications, unprofessional workers, very poor quality of care given, staff laughed and whispered instead of addressing complaints. Phone calls ignored. My loved one is now gone. I wouldn't recommend letting these ppl take care of your pet much less a family member. The Leland staff is NOTHING but disappointing! MY LOVED ONE DESERVED BETTER! RUN FROM THIS PLACE!

This Non Profit Hospice cared for my wife in the home for over 2 years by serving her with a weekly nursing visit , a social worker ,necessary medications, hospital bed and other physical equipment ,and most supplies. This was all free .under Medicare. You see my wife had Alzheimers and it was a long struggle for which the medical profession has no tools. Lower Cape Fear became my partner without which I could never kept her at home. I will always be grateful to them

When my mother was in the hospital in Wilmington. Hospice swooped into her hospital room like vultures. I asked them what service they could offer that she was not already receiving. They could not/did not answer that question. I had to tell them to leave her room several times. Neither my Mother nor our family had asked them to go there. They were very agressive and intrusive.

My father-in-law was a double lower amputee with a litany of other health problems. He went through easily half a dozen home health agencies before we considered in home hospice care. He received services from Lower Cape Fear Hospice for about a year and it was one of the better agencies we dealt with. The medical personnel they provided were friendly and well trained, unlike some of the other agencies we had dealt with. They came to the house daily to provide him with wound care, bathing, laundry and cleaning services. He went into hospice care expecting his health to continue to decline as it had with other services, but under their care he actually became so much healthier they had to release him as a client. They really were a blessing in our lives.
