Our experience with Jim and Applause were excellent. When I needed help for my Mom and after 2 other agencies could not help put due to lack of staffing, Jim stepped up and came to our rescue! He provided a couple of competent, caring and professional aides to attend to my Mom. I am in another state from my Mom but Jim made our initial conversation clear and always followed up on any questions I might have had! The 5 weeks went so smoothly! I would highly recommend Jim and Applause and I thank them for making what could have been a stressful time just the opposite!

I was very appreciative of and highly recommend Applause Home Care who helped with my dad who is eighty-seven and has Alzheimer’s. Applause was willing to start with a shift a week which was my mom’s comfort level. It was extremely helpful to find an agency willing to do this and who could reliably staff the shifts. When things suddenly changed and my parents needed more assistance, they were able to quickly add more shifts, including very last-minute overnight shifts. Jim, the owner, was very kind and responsive, putting my parents at ease, and so was the nurse who did the initial evaluation and with whom I spoke. The aides were all professional and reliable and the aide who staffed the afternoon shifts was very kind and helped my dad with showering which had been a challenge. My mom also really appreciated how thoroughly he cleaned up afterwards. It was a huge relief knowing we could rely on this agency!

Applause Home Care has provided aides for my dad for 2 years. Some have been part time, most have been 24/7. The owner, Jim, hand selects aides that are a good match for my dad. We have been very happy with all the aides that have been provided. Long-term aides have become like family to us. They are able to physically handle my dad in all situations, as his mobility is limited. They provide companionship when he needs it. The agency is very responsive when I have questions, always getting back to me quickly. I am very comforted knowing I can count on Jim to provide excellent caregivers for my dad. Applause provides aides for my 90 year old mother who has trouble walking and is therefore a serious fall risk. I have found them to be extremely reliable and easy to work with. The caregivers are excellent. Sometimes our schedule changes and we may require more or less time/days of care per week. This is never a problem. The agency has a large pool of qualified aides and we have never had an issue with coverage even when we have needed someone to stay overnight. Everyone at the agency from the caregivers to the office staff really cares about their clients and wants to provide the most personalized and compassionate care possible. I would not hesitate to recommend Applause Home Care for anyone needing care for their loved ones.

My sister and I brought in the team from Applause Home Care when our mom began falling in her home. Our mom is very particular, and if she did not feel properly cared for she would not hesitate to let us know! We began with overnight care, to ensure safe transitions in and out of bed and to the bathroom. About 1.5 years ago we needed to add a daytime aide and the owner and team placed the perfect person with our mom. Mom's caregiver is kind, gentle, respectful, full of smiles, and takes pride in her work and caring for mom. My sister and I both work, so we need to be confident that we can go do our jobs knowing that mom's care needs are met. Applause has never let us down, and I believe that is 100% because of the team approach led the owner. From the care providers, to nurses, to office team, the Applause staff is happy to talk with me at any time. And communication happens fast if someone is running late (a rare occurrence!). This is not an easy time of life for any family, so I appreciate the attention given to mine when it's needed.
