Hospice House - Josie Harper Residence

My mother went right from the hospital to Hospice House - Josie Harper Residence. They were very caring and very accommodating. They had TV and a large area where you could come and eat with family. Her room was large and comfortable. The nurses took care of her. The #1 priority was to help her and make her comfortable and they did that. They were very good and loving. They did everything I would have hoped for my mom.

We had to put my mom in hospice. She was in Josie Harper. It was wonderful. They were awesome. It was a little expensive but it was worth it. My mom loved it. I think she would have stayed there forever. They had so many people up there all the time. It seemed like there was always someone there to keep my mom company. They were also attentive. My mom wasn’t eating a whole lot, but they gave her just about whatever she wanted and they were trying to get her to eat. They also had extras if she didn’t like what she was eating.

They were excellent. We had no complaints. Every one of them were respectful and they treated my mother like a family. They were very professional but very caring. We don't regret one cent of the money that we spent in this hospice house because we were there all day every day in those six days that she was there and they would ask if we needed some place to lay down or do we need a blanket or a pillow. They came in every two hours and they turned my mother to make sure she didn't have sores.
