My mom had hospice care at home by Mercy Hospice associated with St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. They were amazing and very good. We were referred to them while my mom was still in the hospital. Their in-hospital representative was great. She met with us and determined my mom's needs. We had a nurse assigned to us and she was great as well. My mom was only in hospice care for a little over a week at home but the nurse was very good. I'll absolutely recommend this hospice care. I give the nurse a high rating of five and the others a four only because they were very, very busy at that time and we never got a home aide to come to the house. I'll give them an overall rating of five; it wasn't their fault they had a bunch of intakes and they were just so good.

Generally good and friendly staff. However, poor coverage of health aid staff during holidays. The contract is somewhat vague about services covered and not covered.
