I didn’t investigate too many facilities, but Home to Stay had a good reputation. I have a long care term insurance, and they were approved by my insurance company. They provide cleaning help for us, cooking, transportation, help to medical doctor appointments, and they provide anything that I need. The caregivers were all extremely nice, and they’re very kind to my wife which I think is very important. They know what they’re doing -- trained as CNAs -- and I can contact their boss anytime for either a complaint or something to say that they’re doing a wonderful job and she is constantly in-touch with me, so I’m very pleased with their agency.

Office staff is unorganized, emotionally reactive, and difficult to work with. Agency does not have enough staff to accommodate staffing needs, although continually said they did. Discourages family visits and family involvement. Not receptive to feedback concerning aides' performance. Aides are trained with desirable personalities, although on more than 1 occasion they did not arrive on time.

Provider Response
This review is the product of our team approach to a care plan. We select each caregiver with the needs and client personality in mind and keep that team together so the client is always familiar with the professional walking through her door and knows that each are aware of what is expected in her home. Our managers do random drop-ins and report to loved ones as necessary and as they request. We are appreciative of this generous review and only wonder what more we can do to earn that 5th star! Let us know and we will get there.

Home To Stay took over the care of my Mom from a large franchise company. In 3 mos, the old co. had run over 20 different people through the house. HTS has a team approach and my Mom has seen only the 4 members of that team. I could not be more pleased with them and the effect upon my Mom has been nothing short of miraculous. Plus, the office gives me updates as needed on her care and condition. This co. is that rarity these days that goes beyond what you would even dare expect of them. They have actually made my life better, not just Mom's.
