I worked for a company, as a HHA, that was contracted by UMASS/Memorial VNA and Hospice. All the nurses, social workers and therapists were top notch. All well educated and compassionate. There for everyone's needs 24/7. Every one of them would explain every step or procedure in terms that the families understood and felt comfortable with. I honestly can't say enough about the compassion these nurses had. So caring and understanding. Also very open and up front with situations. I would recommend them to any family. I actually had a long discussion with one of my clients who was debating going to a facility, at the end of the conversation, she decided to pass at a vacation home they owned. This staff was so cordial in setting up care before she arrived at the other location, while preparing the family, planning transportation, as well as tying up loose ends back at the original residence. They get 10 stars from me. I actually look forward to not being a family caregiver and working with this staff again!!
