As a small business owner, I do not like giving negative reviews. We are all human and make mistakes. South Shore Senior Services set me up with this group. They were to come the last two Thursday of each month. They were no-shows in July and August. In September, I asked Elder Services to investigate. They didn't get a reasonable explanation, but I agreed to give them another chance. They were a no-show last week. I spoke with Donna, case manager, this week, and she promised me someone responsible would be here today at 1:30. My mom needs 24-hour care. I am a single mom and was counting on this time period to get errands done. At 2 no one was here, and I called the agency. The on-call woman said she would get back to me. She called back and instead of apologizing or offering an explanation, she told me looking at my file, I had cancelled several times. My mom is 89 and has been hospitalized three times and to ER five with major health issues since May., so yes I have cancelled. I imagine this happens with many elders/caregivers. If you are a caregiver who truly need an agency to help care for your loved ones, avoid this agency. Not only are they unreliable, but instead of owning their mistake they blame the client.

We have personal care for my wife from Active Home Care. They are good. The attitude of the people is good. They come when they are supposed to come, and they do their job. I will recommend them because I am satisfied with what they do.

Everything's good with their service. My wife's being taken care of. Her caregivers are nurturing and attentive, so I believe that they are a good match to her. She's at ease with them and so far everything's fine. Home Health Mates Hingham is very good provider for in-home care. They didn't keep us waiting for their service. In a couple of days they had two caregivers showed up. So far definitely good service from them. Yes, I would recommend them.
