Personal care, companion care, light housecleaning, meal preparation, and grocery shopping. We've had Home Instead since 2017 when I fell and broke my shoulder. Since then, care has past over to my mom and was increased to 7 days a week, two shifts a day. All caregivers are great and have become like part of our family, but Holly and Nancy are the two Mom and I see the most. They both are self starters and have been a huge help. Overall, I can't say enough about how phenomenal Home Instead has been for us.

Home Instead did an excellent job caring for our dad. All of the caregivers were always on time, very polite and attentive to the many different needs that were required. Communication was also very good with Home Instead. Whenever we needed a change of schedule or added service, Home Instead did whatever they could to help fill our needs. I would recommend Home Instead for any family that needs help caring for a loved one.

Kim and the entire Home Instead staff are the ultimate caregivers and professionals! Kim assisted my aunt for many years and quickly became my aunt's close friend and companion. Kim's love and dedication were essential to allowing my 94-year-old aunt to enjoy her life in the comfort of her home, as independently as possible. Kim arrived early and she was very responsive (including emergencies) - she went above & beyond and was ALWAYS there for my aunt! It's impossible to list everything Kim did for my aunt, but here are just a few: Kim took her to her weekly hair appointments; doctors' visits; shopping; and to lunch to meet friends and family, including when my aunt was using her walker or wheelchair. Kim also assisted my aunt with her daily showering, dressing, cooking, and cleaning activities. But the most meaningful to me, was the genuine love between Kim and my aunt. Kim was right by her side when my aunt passed. My interactions with Kim have always been (and continue to be) warm and timely - she is VERY responsive! I highly recommend Home Instead - I would definitely contact them if I need them in the future!

Our elderly family member struggled with their purpose as well as their diminishing abilities to handle daily life. Your staff helped maintain the dignity of our loved one while seeking to understand, listen, and meet their needs with compassion and empathy. From transition support, meal prep, doctor visits, and so many more basic tasks with love, the agency was very interactive and responsive as care evolved with hospital and/or rehab care transfers then back home. Staff was very timely with arrivals and flexible with depart or team transfers.

A Home Instead caregiver helped me take care of my father, who had mid-stage dementia and short-term memory loss. She was a caring, understanding and giving person, and my father truly enjoyed her jokes and sense of humor. She sat and ate lunch with him, prepped meals for him, and discussed daily news topics, which he thoroughly enjoyed since he was no longer able to read. Her insight helped me find ways to deal with the nuances of his care, which enabled him to stay in his own home for 2 more years. Having a caregiver provided tremendous peace of mind to me and my siblings .

My mother was a Home Instead client for more than 6 years at first in her own home then when she moved to my home we continued with Home Instead caregivers coming in to dispense time w her. All of the caregivers were wonderful with my mother. They were competent and diligent with their duties all the while keeping my mother engaged in conversation and activities related to her interests. The agency is run very professionally and is very accommodating. Home Instead was very dependable and also flexible with scheduling when necessary to accommodate doctor appointments and anything else that might arise, even driving her to activities and appointments. I give Home Instead 5 stars! I would recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for assistance keeping their loved one at home.

Home Instead has been part of my family for approximately seven months. It was the best move I made. My father has been living with me for 10 months. I tried to take care of dad for the first four months by myself, but realized we needed help. I contacted Home Instead and was immediately met with compassionate, professional people. I continue to be impressed with every employee, from the office staff to the aides who take care of my father. The office phone is always answered within the first two rings by an actual person. You will not get a recording asking you to select a prompt. I even had to call one time after hours and the on-call person answered right away. The office staff talk to me as if we have known each other for a long time, which is great. They know me and are familiar with my father's conditions. The aides who look after my father are great. They interact with him and treat him as if he was their dad. In the beginning the company will take the time to do an assessment and look for aides who will be the right fit for the specific circumstances presented. Additionally, the company actually performs, what I call, unannounced performance evaluations. The Client Care Coordinator will arrive unannounced on any given day to check on their employee/aide at the clients location. Everything Home Instead provides has given me peace of mind and a calm I have not felt in some time. Choosing Home Instead was the best move we made.

Home Instead has a very caring and professional staff who work quickly and thoroughly to set up service for your loved one. When my mother was released from the hospital we had caregivers assigned within 3 days. She receives 4 hours of care per day which is perfect for her needs. The caregivers are professional, caring and conscientious. My mother has become very accustomed to having them in her home and looks forward to company each day. It has relieved so much of my stress from the day to day care of my mother, especially when I work full time. The managers and office staff are able to react to most all of my mother's care schedule changes we request to accommodate visits by family members, vacations and special events. We highly recommend Home Instead for home care needs! They're flexible and dependable.
