My mother's long term care policy requires that you use an agency. We were able to have Comfortcare hire our regular caregiver and bill the Long Term Care Insurer. It's unfortunate that this adds about $5 per hour to the cost. But this was the only way to get reimbursed. It is so hard to navigate the system. I wish I had know earlier some of these issues.
