The caregivers themselves were wonderful and the facility was clean and well kept. Grief counseling and religious support were fantastic. My mother was at the facility during her last couple of weeks. My only complaint is related to a Social worker who seemed to be more of a Medicare representative in my opinion, so be prepared to pay out of pocket.

My father was recently a patient at the Kavanaugh House and our family could not have been happier with the care he received. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking hospice care. It was the most beautiful, calm and peaceful environment. The staff were amazing and very attentive to our needs. Thank you so much for supporting us

There are no words to express how I feel about the staff members that work at Kavanaugh House. They were attentive to both the residents as well as the family. They were with us whenever big decisions needed to be made. Their advice and care helped us make the decision to move Grandma from assisted living to nursing care, and then finally to hospice care. We were provided private counseling areas and grieving areas. I think the biggest disappointment is the rooming arrangements. While Grandma was with assisted living and even nursing care, it would have been great for her to have the company of a roommate for conversation and activities. But it was not until she was moved to hospice that her room was shared. Then the whole family was crowded in a tiny room, where another person was resting with their family. It seemed so intrusive and awkward. Knowing that there were people on the other side of the curtain listening to us grieve.
