"The initial consultation with Home Instead was only $60 and lasted three hours. One of the things that I'm very pleased with was we had caregivers who would stay for long periods of time. One girl came on Sunday morning and stayed until Thursday. They're using CNA students and nursing students from the local university. However, one of the care persons that they have there is elderly herself, and when the morning daycare person came in, she noticed that the oven had been left on all night by that person. We had to talk to them about that, and they've been really super good at making sure that my friend is being well cared for and safe. Another thing with Home Instead that I did not see from other companies was that each time a new worker that's never been here before comes, the supervisor comes and gets the person settled in and introduces the caregiver to us. She also stays at least half a day to make sure that the care is up to the level that she wants. I really could not be more pleased."
