The main reason I chose the services of Golden Heart Senior Care Chicago was because they offered more flexibility and scheduling. I looked for an agency that was willing to provide services for the time frame that I needed. I took 2 two-hour shifts a day. I liked the management group the most. I needed people twice a day regardless of what each caregiver's issues may be. For the most part, they did a good job and they assured there was always someone available.

Golden Heart is much more organized and professional than most caregiving agencies. The owner is very caring. I would never recommend them for the suburbs though. We went through numerous interviews and caregivers who had car problems, childcare issues and health problems. We had more interviews and training sessions than we did days of help. They are also pushy when they want you to use a caregiver even if you are not comfortable.

I got online and I looked for senior caregivers in my area. I found a website that I just placed my information into and they sent me back names of 4 places and one of them being Golden Heart. I like the people I talked to at Golden Heart and set up an appointment to meet with them to make a decision. The care was great. The woman that we ended up with was just the perfect type of caregiver. The management is great. The company is really good at communicating what your needs are. They were quite good at giving me information that I should have. It not only came verbally from them but packed in a folder so that I could review it after out meeting. They're really professional. It was a really really good experience. I think they know exactly what they're doing. I hired them for respite care. I would not hesitate to use them again when the need arises.They were great. I would highly recommend them.
