I am using Home Helpers Wheaton. They have been pretty easy to work with. They respond to my requests. The ladies that I met that have come to my home, I felt were all very good. I really don't have any complaints at all. There is really nothing that they have fallen down on. They provide basic services, like making sure my husband takes his meds, preparing a couple meals, and companionship. There is no overnight, helping with dressing, or anything like that. All of the women seemed as though they're very comfortable with it, and they're very kind.

Some caregivers had to leave early, and the replacement couldn't come right away, so I had to step in during the gaps. I didn't want that to happen, since we agreed to a 24/7 arrangement.

I am not well versed in dementia, but one time the client turned on a coffee machine and when the caregiver came the coffee was burned. That is more of my problem. They have really good communication, especially with the caretaker and supervisor, I can reach them by phone or by text.
