My mother has been a part of both Sutter Hospice and the VNA for the last 5 years after having had a stroke. From the Hospice nurses and the Visiting nurses, to the social workers, the chaplains, the aides, and Martha ( the gal at the Front Office) -- all have been so helpful in whatever I need for my mom. My mom was "released" from Hospice as she failed to meet criteria for the program, but is now with the VNA. The nurse comes on a bi-monthly visit to take her vitals and then monthly to replace her cathether. I can give her a call and she is always so punctual in her visits or call backs. I would highly recommend Sutter VNA & Hospice for those folks who live in Santa Rosa / Sonoma County, California.

The quality of the sutter care at home practitioners has significantly declined in the past year. We will be looking for another home health agency the next time we need home health support.
