As a first time caregiver, I contacted the Redwood Caregivers Resource Center and they were extremely helpful in giving me all kinds of ideas as to caregiving, to classes for supporting me, to even a one time monetary resource so I could have some time away. Highly recommend this agency if you are thinking of doing caregiving in Sonoma County, California.
