My parents have used Kindred for several years and they were an integral part of our support team while my mother was attended by Hospice. I will admit, there were bumps in the road as we worked with a number of different caregivers, but with a little patience, we have found 2 wonderful caregivers in Carmen and Jennifer. These agencies do have a very difficult time in staffing so it is important to work with them. My mother passed away recently and both Carmen and Jennifer have continued working with my father who is not always easy to deal with. They are gentle and respectful and have helped him in his transition to life without my mom.

Good care from most of their Health Aides. Problem is that they can't seem to keep people on staff, and I do not always receive a particular person on a regular basis. I presume their salary scale is a big problem. But Kindred needs to adjust to local conditions One exception: Health Care Aide Claude Auguste has been attending me, on Thursdays, for a number of months. Claude is very efficient, capable, and well-trained.

We have an excellent caregiver, with whom we have a standing schedule. When she is unable to come, we are always advised in advance. She is conscientious about providing us with excellent care.
