This Hospice company (I can't call it a company, it does so much for people) did so much for my mom when she was in her last moments, it meant so much to me and my family to know that they were there for us so much. Special thank yous to Nurse Julie for being so attentive and helpful to us.

We're currently receiving care from Hospice of the Valley. I'm trying to see if we can make things work out a little bit longer because I don't want to put my wife off like that if we can continue to give a little in-home health and see how long that lasts. We have a palliative care working with us and they send a nurse in every once in a while when we request it. It's palliative care for dementia and we've been working with them now for my wife. At the same time, I made the call because I didn't know what we were going to be into, things just come and go. She's OK sometimes, she'll let us work with her, help her change clothes, and then again she gets off and won't let us do anything. We're going to get the doctor to let us get home health, which would get a person for me and work with us two or three days a week. This group that works with Hospice of the Valley, they call us every two or three weeks to see how we're doing. We're going to get the doctor to go ahead and make it OK for us to get home health care and have someone come in for two or three days a week. It's great so far. They've made three visits and then a nurse comes in and work swith my wife and gives me some points on how to get her to cooperate and change clothes and things. It's good. We're just satisfied because I don't know that much about what we are dealing with and so I can't say if it should be more or it should be less, just that I'm satisfied with what they're doing.

Hospice of the Valley helps my dad with everything and all of his medical needs. They got him a hospital bed, wheelchair, and walker. They come in with nursing people every week. They come in with aides and stuff to help with personal needs like bathing. They take care of everything. We see none of the billing because it's all taken care of with Medicare.
