Our House Senior Living - Wisconsin Rapids Memory Care

My sister went to a small facility called Our House Senior Living - Wisconsin Rapids Memory Care. She picked it because her granddaughter lives a block away, and she could come and visit. They're really good about calling me and informing me of any issues. She likes the food. She likes that they take field trips. Once a month, they go somewhere with them, which is really important, so she can get out of the facility and go see some sites. The care is good. It's a small facility, so she's getting to know everyone and the staff really well. It's an older facility, so it's showing a little wear and tear, but it's well-maintained. It's nice, clean, and neat. They're doing art projects, and they have musicians coming in. This is her fourth place that she's been in in the last year. So far, this is the happiest she's been. I think she's connecting with the people and connecting with the staff.

The rooms at Our House Senior Living - Wisconsin Rapids Memory Care were small and the room that we saw, which my mother-in-law would have gone to, the bedroom furniture was very old and scratched up. The staff was very nice and very knowledgeable. The marketing director had to leave. So, another lady took us around, but our experience with the staff was very good.

Great place to send your loved one to receive quality and compassionate care. There are activities throughout the day, snacks, great leadership, and staff who are there for the residents.

My mom moved into Our House Senior Living. She said the food is excellent. They've been very helpful during the transition to the new facility, and the staff is very friendly and very helpful. There was a person who came in, played music, and sang, and my mom actually participated in that. She has a nice one-bedroom with her own private bath, and it's like a motel room. It would be nice if the rooms were a little bit larger. I think it's a good value.

Wisconsin Rapids Memory Care was a small community, so I thought it'd be more personalized. My mom has a small dog that she was able to take with her as long as she could walk him, so it made a huge transition difference. She's only been there a week or two, but it seems OK. They're trying to get her to socialize, and they do outings. Mom said the food was good. They offer grooming with a hairstylist coming in, physical exercising, and Bingo. The value is very good.

Our House was a nice place and very organized. The food was good. I used to teach art making classes to the residents, so I was there every month for a while. It was nice, and the clientele and the people that run it were nice. The people seemed to be looked after very good.
