My mother was there for 5 months. Her clothes were constantly lost, belongings stolen, money taken out of her purse, crumbs on her floor all the time, her curtains were not opened or tv turned on so she sat in the dark most days. On two occasions we found her medication on the floor near her chair from the night before. She had fallen 11 times in that 5 months to which staff would not solve the issue by checking on her more. Three of those falls she was taken to the ER where she was diagnosed as dehydrated and malnourished contributing to her falls. Staff would not make sure she would eat or give her fluids throughout the day. She lost a significant amount of weight causing her to be put on hospice. I have witnessed staff being rude to other residents as well. I do not recommend this facility to anyone who has memory issues as residents need to advocate for themselves and will not get the care they deserve.

Arborview Court was a nice place. The man that showed us around was knowledgeable and friendly. Everybody seemed very friendly. The rooms were pretty nice. They had quite a few books out there for the residents. There was also a cage with birds and a couple of places where you could go outside. They showed us their activity board and they had quite a list. The facility was clean. Some spots seemed too old that probably could use some updating like parts of the paint that needed to be fixed.

Arborview Court has provided my father-in-law a place to reside that is safe and secure, allowing him to have the best quality of life while living with dementia. Our family is comforted knowing he is at a place that still feels like home with atmosphere, meals and activities; and most of all a level of care is offered we could no longer provide him on our own at home. We are continually thankful to all of the staff. We have access to spend time with him and are permitted to take him out whenever we choose to. We could not do this without open dialog and that is so important to us to be able to speak consistently with all staff as to what is best for my father-in-law. We continue to choose to oversee his doctor appointments and other matters, and even take him two times per week to an adult day care for added activity and socializing. Having a loved one who can no longer take care of themselves brings much uncertainly, however, it’s a blessing to know with certainty, my father-in-law is loved and cared for at Arborview Court.
