The average age of residents is 65 and older. Most of the residents work on their own interests for example gardening, painting, baking, going on walks and socializing just to name a few. We try and ensure that our residents do not loose any of their independence but also with supervision if needed.

We maintain a calm atmosphere and avoid any disruptions. Being patients and allowing the resident enough time to explore and eat the food. We offer one food at a time and also using colorful dishes seems to stimulate residents with Dementia to eat their food. We also also offer foods since using utensils can become frustrating in some instances this helps a resident with Dementia engage in eating their meals.
