I have been to a couple of places and one of them is Carrington. I found that their staff is poorly supervised and they were understaffed. The place itself is well maintained. It was clean and relatively new. I dined in their assisted living area and it left me a negative impression because there were a lot of people that sat there and they were not eating and they didn’t have assistance.

My mother-in-law has been at Carrington Place for about two years now, and it's a super nice facility. It is like a 5-star hotel, but they are very expensive, and they go up $100 every year. The only problem we have is that they overcharge for her medications.

My mother has been a resident here since 09/2012. The medical staff are very good, they keep her clean and seem to take very good care of her. She has improved since she has been here. She has fallen a number of times, they did give her a double dose of her sleeping meds and they have all kinds of hidden fees. They don't provide a TV and if you take one in they charge you a cable fee, which they don't tell you about. They will send her down to have her hair done @ $15 each visit even without the permission of the caregiver. When you complain to the business office they will tell you there is nothing they can do.
