"My father has adjusted well, and he has made friends. Him having people his age, there has been an awesome stimulation for his brain, and they're keeping him active. They're providing him three awesome meals a day. I eat there with him, and the food is delicious. They have lots of activities like social outings. I've been very pleased with everything there. The price for what he is getting was cheaper than other places, plus they have the Alzheimer's Board, and they will take him all the way through hospice. It's a place that he needed to be, and when the time comes, he can move to different places without disrupting his schedule too much. The owners come in and socialize with the residents there. We had a 4th of July luncheon and had lots of great activities. They talk to the residents and make sure everybody is OK with their services and talking to family members. We've been there for two months, and I've been very impressed with I've seen so far. The nurses communicate with me. They email me to let me know how he is doing on a weekly basis. I find Runk & Pratt to be an awesome place to live. I even plan to go there. "

"My great Aunt is a resident at this facility. I love visiting her , everytime i visit the staff are the greatest , they are very helpful in any way possible! Every department is great in the building even the house keepers are magnificent! The aides there are more then what i could ever ask for!"

"My uncle was in rehab at Kendal at Lexington for a couple of months. It was a good experience and he enjoyed it there. Everyone was nice and attentive. It's a very good facility, and very clean, too. The staff was very nice and he liked them. He liked his room, as well. It was institutional but was more private than most nursing homes shared rooms. They have a library and a courtyard. He also said the food was very good."

"If my mother-in-law was bedridden or had more physical issues, she would have fit in at Heritage Hall. It was a pretty good place and seemed clean. She has a little bit of dementia, but she can walk around and do things that I can do. They would've taken care of her there, but there wouldn't have been many other people for her to talk to that would walk around too because most people there were bedridden. "

I said, "Don’t you have access to the chart because you are a nurse," and she looked and said it wasn’t there. She acted like it was none of her business. They have some good activities but it’s very expensive and more expensive if you don’t have Medicaid "

"Havenwood was mainly for older people, and they were in their late 80's or 90's. It was all on one level, which was good for the residents, but they did not have transportation. My husband liked it. It was quiet. "

"The facility was always clean. The staff was constantly supervising the residents. The staff also we always there to help direct or take residents to anywhere they needed to go. The facility staff was good about having activities on a weekly basis for the residents to participate in. The building maintenance staff was very good about getting all of my grandfather's room repairs done in a timely fashion. The whole facility staff as a whole and the atmosphere of the building was very warm and welcoming with the residents as well as family members. They were also very involved and informative with my family about the care and needs of my grandfather. Some of the faults and issues I did have with the facility were that there were not many posted maps within the building and because of its size it was very easy to get confused about your location in the building. Also as the parking was very close to the main entrance to the building I feel like there were not enough parking spaces to facilitate the amount of visitors that were there on a daily basis, and especially on Holidays. "

"We went to the community. We were able to see just about everything. The staff showed us different apartments, and the dining room and went over all the specifics regarding that, the beauty shop, visiting hours, she went over the amount of staff that is usually there, and we talked about the money aspect of it. She went over the medication administration, and a lot of the patients came walking but they stay through hospice. They don't go anywhere else. They just stay there. The staff during the tour was great. Her father lives there and that helps when you know someone who has a relative that lives there. She said that we could come back if we wanted to try the food. They have balconies everywhere and a lot of light because they have a lot of glass everywhere. It's very nice They have a salon and an exercise room because they have physical therapy and occupational therapy there."

"The people who run this facility are amazing! They provide such good care to the folks hat live there. My grandmother is a resident and she enjoys her stay very much. There are plenty of activities to do such as bridge, piano lessons, and horse dice racing. The food is great also, I personally prefer the fried chicken but there is also other stuff such as great hot chocolate and fish sticks. The rooms are very spacious and would be a great place for anyone person o live at. I would highly recommend this nursing home for any elder looking to relocate from their home. "
